Kylie Cosmetics is my favorite brand for sure. I’ve ordered my first product one and a half year ago and I was in love. Since then I’m frequently buying their products and I’ve build a pretty bomb collection. I love Kylie’s matte liquid lipsticks, but when I did discover the velvet formula I was shook. It’s such a nice formula and stays on so good as well. So when she launched velvet singles I had to get some of them!
The colors I’ve ordered are Low key and Savage, both more of the nude colors. When you order from Kylie Cosmetics, you’ll always get a cute little card! This one you see on the picture below is their standard card but with special collections you’ll get a fitting card. I love the cards, it makes it a little bit more personal. The packaging is simple, it’s black and had ‘Kylie’ on it which you can’t see on the picture. At the top you’ll see a sneak peek of the color and the name of the velvet lipstick.
Low key is a warm pinky coral. Savage is a warm apricot nude. 1 lipstick contains 0.11 fl oz./oz. liq / 3.00 g and the price is $16. Which is 13 euros. A really good price!
This is what stated on the Kylie Cosmetics website:
The Velvet Liquid Lipstick has high intensity pigment for a full coverage lip. This long wearing, ultra pigmented liquid lipstick contains moisturizing ingredients that glide on for a creamy matte look that does not dry down.
It’s perfectly stated, cause it’s true. I love how pigmented and long wearing these velvets are without giving you dry lips. They’re really comfortable and creamy.
Here are some swatches! Left is natural lighting and right is with camera flash. I do think these colors are so pretty! For me they’re definitely ‘go to’ shades. As you can see they don’t dry down but they’re not as shiny as a gloss. They look matte on the lips but they feel like a lipstick, which I really like.
There are 15 velvet singles at this moment and 7 velvet lipkits. I own 4 velvet lipkits as well. If you would like swatches, please let me know!
To be honest, if you’re a make-up lover you NEED these in your collection. You won’t regret buying these at all.
Where to buy?
Be careful with buying Kylie Cosmetics product, cause they’re sold everywhere but let me tell you: all of them are fake if you haven’t bought them on the Kylie Cosmetics website. The only legit website is: http://www.kyliecosmetics.com
There aren’t European websites, it’s only possible to get your stuff at the above stated website. This means that if you’re European you might have to deal with custom charges.
Kylie Cosmetics offers free domestic shipping over $40 and free international shipping over $60, that’s a pretty good deal!
See you next time loves,
