Colourpop Butterfly Collection

The Colourpop Butterfly collection launched a couple weeks ago and I had to get myself some stuff. Shipping to the Netherlands takes some time, so after 2 weeks it finally arrived here! The packaging makes me super happy and looks like spring! Let’s take a look at the products… First of all, I had to get the Pretty Fly shadow kit which contains 6 Super Shock Shadows. I’m a sucker for packaging and I had to get the box, cause it’s super pretty haha. Most important, the shadows are looking amazing too!

I don’t own a lot of the Super Shock Shadows (yet) but I love the formula. It’s creamy and kinda has a wet feeling. It’s different than a normal powder eyeshadow. They don’t have fall out as well.

As you can see, the shadows are super pigmented! This is one swipe! The colors top to bottom: Force Behavior, Goodbye Butterfly, Three’s A Cloud, Flux with You, Soul-cialize and Up In The Air. I love the names by the way! The Pretty Fly shadow kit has some neutral colors and fun pops of color. It’s definitely nice for springtime. Left picture is with flash and right one is natural ligt.

Next product is the Just Dew It Pressed Powder Face Duo. This duo contains a blush and a highlighter. To be honest, I was a little bit sad when I pulled the face duo out of the sleeve. I expected it to be as colorful as the sleeve but it’s just a white normal packaging. The colors inside are pretty! I don’t think I can wear the highlighter as a highlighting shade, but I’ll use it as a blush topper which I think would look cute together! I tried the blush color on my face already and it’s a pretty color. You don’t have to use much, otherwise you might look like a clown if you are as pale as I am haha.

Some swatches on my arm. Left is with flash and right is with natural light. Top one is the blush which is called Zip and the higlighter is the bottom one which is called Zoom. Zip is a burnt coral and Zoom is a rich peach with a gold sheen.

On to the next products! I bought two Lux Lipsticks. Sadly I’ve got the wrong color. I ordered Tip Toe and Carousel but got Tip Toe and Nu Wave instead. While writing this I’ve got response from the amazing Colourpop Customer Service and they’ve offered me a coupon code so I can still buy Carousel and I can have Nu Wave for free. What a good service! Another reason why I love Colourpop so much. On to the colors, Tip Toe is a light cool-tuned nude and Nu Wave is a vivid pinky red.

The swatches. Top one is Tip Toe and bottom one is Nu Wave. I like them! Nu Wave is definitely a color which I wouldn’t wear all the time. I’m a little bit scared of wearing bright colors. I guess Colourpop wanted me to try out a bright color lol! Tip Toe is my basic nude which I love to wear! Both of the lipsticks are really pigmented and swatched pretty quickly on my arm. They’re smooth and creamy!
