7 Easy Beauty Tasks To Do To Make You Feel Better

Some countries are starting to slowly ease the restrictions so some of you might be going back to work or can pick up other activities again. However, you want to be fully prepared once you have to get out of your shelter again! So I gathered 7 easy beauty tasks you can tick off your to do list and which will make you feel better so you’ll be fully prepared to go outside again.

I don’t know about you but I really have been hiding from the world for weeks lol. I blame ACNES (entrapped nerve in my belly) for this but either way, I would’ve been living like a hobbit, in all honesty, lol.

If you’re like me, you might have slackened on your beauty tasks. But it’s about time to get ourselves together and make sure we spent our time, hopefully the last bit of it, in lockdown the right way.

7 Easy Beauty Tasks To Do To Make You Feel Better

Wash Your Makeup Brushes

It’s a thing we probably all hate to do but it’s so important! Take the time to finally wash your makeup brushes. Especially during times like this, you want to avoid brushes with bacteria all over it because you were too lazy to wash them so go wash them, girl! I have shared a tip before to make washing your makeup brushes super easy, check it out here

Throw Away Old Cosmetics

This is also the perfect time to look through your collection and throw away old, expired makeup/skincare/bodycare/haircare. I recently spring cleaned my whole makeup collection and I felt so refreshed! If you have unused or barely used products that you know you won’t use, you could consider donating them or selling them as well.

Update Your Skincare Routine

This is the perfect time to update your skincare routine if necessary. Take the time to do some research to see what products will fit your needs the best, to figure out what your skin type is, and to read reviews on products. Your skin is going to be so thankful!

Experiment With Colors

If you have some spare time, you can easily experiment with colors you wouldn’t normally wear or which you are scared of. Maybe you find new colors that actually fit you more than you thought or you’ll get more confident wearing a particular color. I’m scared to wear red lipstick out of the house, so the perfect step is to try this more often at home to get used to it.

Shop Your Stash

As a beauty lover, I sometimes keep buying new things and forget about the things I have in my collection already. I actually think it’s fun to shop my stash every now and then, to find old favorites or products I forgot about! This is fun and it’s saving money. That’s a win-win!

Facial Massages

Since we still can’t go to the spa just yet, why not create a spa day at home? Don’t forget to massage your face because this is good for blood circulation. A tool you can use for this is a Face Roller, which I reviewed a couple of weeks ago. If you want to know more about Face Rollers and how to use them, check out this post

At home manicure or pedicure

So I had to take off my acrylics as you might know and I had to really take care of them because my nails are so thin. They break all the time and so I had to give myself a manicure! I’m using an oil daily now and I’m wearing nail polish to make them a little bit harder. I love having beautiful nails and always feel better when I have fresh nail polish, this is definitely a recommendation. However, I have an appointment at the nail salon in a couple of days and I literally can’t wait to have my acrylics back!

Are you going to tick off some beauty tasks I mentioned? Let me know in the comments if you did some already or which things you still want/need to do.

See you next time loves!

I’m not doing too bad with this list right now, which is honestly surprising! I mainly need to wash my brushes. But, I have definitely purchased new makeup- lot’s of sales going on recently. These are great reminders!

First, I’m loving the cursive font for your headers!! Is it new??
Second, I totally agree with you regarding washing brushes at at-home manicures. There is def something calming about cleaning a big stack of makeup brushes LOL. And being stuck at home has definitely helped me to get back into wearing nail polishes regularly. Have you see the new nude polishes from Lights Lacquer?? They’re freaking gorgeous!

Yes the headers are (were) new! I just went back to normal but I’ll be changing them again soon haha.

Oh my gosh, yes, I love the new nude polishes from Lights Lacquer! They’re so beautiful!

Hahaha washing brushes is definitely the worst thing to do! But I feel good once they’re all clean though. Oh yes, I love clearing out my drawers every now and then!

There are so many great tips in here. I recently did a huge purge of my makeup collection and it made me feel so much more inspired to use and love it all. There is also nothing better than fresh makeup brushes!

I’ve actually done most of the steps on this list, which made me feel pretty good about myself, haha! I recently went through and cleaned all of my makeup brushes but I also used antibacterial spray on my makeup storage containers as well as each individual makeup product I own. Obviously, this was so time-consuming, but I felt WAY better once I’d sorted all of this out. I also threw out some of my old makeup products, which was very therapeutic to do!

Oh my gosh, this sounds so good! I can imagine how time-consuming it was but it must’ve felt so rewarding afterward!!
