Anastasia Beverly Hills: Norvina palette
I have been following Norvina for quite a while now because I think she has a cute and outgoing personality. Moreover, I like her view on the beauty industry. I really feel like she is passionate about makeup. When Anastasia Beverly Hills announced the Norvina palette I already knew it would look great! As a result, I was pretty quick sold and bought it. Time to review this beauty!
To be honest, my expectation was pretty high because I know Norvina won’t settle for anything less than perfect. The color scheme of the palette fits her perfectly! It’s a more cool toned palette which I really like. Lately, there have been so much warm toned palettes. Time for something else! 🙂
Purple is one of my favorite colors so I really like the packaging. As usual, it’s their soft velvety packaging which I think feels really luxurious. It tends to be quick dirty though so I can imagine that not everyone is a fan of it but I like it. The packaging is nothing really special, it’s really clean. Likewise, Modern Renaissance and Soft Glam but in another color. Very pretty!
The Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina Palette
The inside looks absolutely stunning! As usual, this palette comes with a mirror and a brush. I’m not really a fan of the brush, to be honest. Therefore, I don’t really use the brushes that come with the palettes. I still have the logo sticker on the mirror, but you can easily pull this off. So you’ll have a perfect mirror. Above all, these palettes are really travel-friendly.
Dreamer – Metallic pink champagne

Soul – Matte Wisteria
Wild Child – Duo-chrome frosty pink with magenta shift
Incense – Matte dusty terracotta
Rose Gold – Metallic rosewood
Love – Matte mid-tone cool pink
Celestial – Duo-chrome plum with a violet shift
Volatile – Matte warm charcoal
Dazzling – Cool-tone duo chrome bronze with a violet shift
Eccentric – Matte dark burnt orange
Drama – Duo chrome aubergine with a cool bronze shift
Passion – Matte deep garnet
I love the variety of shades and formulas in this palette. You can really make a soft day look or a good party look. I think that’s awesome. I love how Norvina did the top row with the metallic, foiled and duo-chrome shades and the bottom row all mattes.
Here are the swatches of the top row. Top to bottom: Dreamer, Summer, Wild Child, Rose Gold, Celestial, Dazzling, and Drama. How stunning are these colors?! I really like them a lot. Very pigmented and applied really well. You can see the different formulas back in these swatches. The pink and the purple shades (Wild Child and Celestial) are stunning! I think you would be able to wear these to work if you would want to. You can make them look very natural but still with a little pop of color. I like it!
Here’s the bottom row. Top to bottom: Base, Soul, Incense, Love, Volatile, Eccentric, and Passion.
I expected the colors to be more cool toned. The brownish/orange colors are warmer toned than I thought they would be. I don’t think that’s a problem though, because you can still create really pretty looks. Volatile and Passion are a little bit patchy swatching them but not bad. Thankfully, they’re still performing good. Again, I really like the pink and purple shades!
Moreover, the shadows do have some kickback in the pans and fallout when applying the eyeshadow. I don’t think it is as bad as the Subculture palette but it’s just like Soft Glam and Modern Renaissance.
The Norvina palette contains 14 shades and retails for $42 or €56,05. You’ll get 0.28 oz/7.9 g per pan.

I like this palette a lot! First of all It’s pretty, you can also use it in many ways. Furthermore, I love the variety of shades and formulas, it’s blendable and pigmented. Seems like you’ll experience some kickback and fallout but it’s just like Modern Renaissance, which is an all-time favorite for most people.
