If you follow Anastasia Beverly Hills, you’ll probably know that Norvina is Anastasia’s daughter and also working for the brand. Norvina has a unique style and isn’t afraid of vibrant colors. The Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina palette is a palette that embodies Norvina’s spirit, as she said so herself. The ABH Norvina Palette includes pops of colors and stunning, neutral mattes. I was excited immediately so I bought this beautiful purple-toned palette.

Purple is one of my favorite colors so I really like the packaging. As usual, it’s their soft velvety packaging which I think feels really luxurious. It tends to be quick and dirty though so I can imagine that not everyone is a fan of it but I like it. The packaging is nothing really special, it’s really clean. Likewise, Modern Renaissance and Soft Glam but in another color. Very pretty!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina Palette Review & Swatches

I love the variety of shades and formulas in this palette. You can really make a soft day look or a good party look. I think that’s awesome. I love how Norvina did the top row with the metallic, foiled and duo-chrome shades and the bottom row all mattes.

Here are the swatches of the top row. Top to bottom: Dreamer, Summer, Wild Child, Rose Gold, Celestial, Dazzling, and Drama. How stunning are these colors?! I really like them a lot. Very pigmented and applied really well. You can see the different formulas back in these swatches. The pink and the purple shades (Wild Child and Celestial) are stunning! I think you would be able to wear these to work if you would want to. You can make them look very natural but still with a little pop of color. I like it!

Here’s the bottom row. Top to bottom: Base, Soul, Incense, Love, Volatile, Eccentric, and Passion.
I expected the colors to be more cool-toned. The brownish/orange colors are warmer-toned than I thought they would be. I don’t think that’s a problem though, because you can still create really pretty looks. Volatile and Passion are a little bit patchy swatching them but not bad. Thankfully, they’re still performing well. Again, I really like the pink and purple shades!

Moreover, the shadows do have some kickback in the pans and fallout when applying the eyeshadow. I don’t think it is as bad as the Subculture palette but it’s just like Soft Glam and Modern Renaissance.

Final Thoughts

I like this palette a lot! First of all It’s pretty, you can also use it in many ways. Furthermore, I love the variety of shades and formulas, it’s blendable and pigmented. Seems like you’ll experience some kickback and fallout but it’s just like Modern Renaissance, which is an all-time favorite for most people.
