I completely switched my nighttime routine to the BB Skin products, and after testing thoroughly, I’m spilling the tea on this new baddie on the block.
What BB Skin Products Are There
BB Skin is a sub-brand by Bali Body, a self-tan and suncare brand I’ve loved for years. Now they’re adding skincare to their range through a sub-brand.
BB Skin launches the brand with seven products: Vitamin D Serum, Pro Collagen Cream, Hydrating Skin Shield, Brightening Eye Serum, Enzyme Exfoliant, Vitamin Hydration Mask & Detoxifying Clay Mask.
- Morning Routine: BB Skin recommends using the Vitamin D Serum, Pro Collagen Cream, Hydrating Skin Shield & Brightening Eye Serum in your morning routine.
- Night Routine: BB Skin recommends using the Enzyme Exfoliant, Vitamin D Serum, Pro Collagen Cream & Detoxifying Clay Mask in your night routine.
This is a recommendation, and it’s up to you to implement the products into your routine the way you prefer. As you can tell, some products in the morning routine are also used in the night routine, so there’s room for mixing and matching or even using them morning and night.
I received the products for the night routine, so I’ll focus on them in the review.

BB Skin Night Routine Products Review
The BB Skin range has this gorgeous deep burgundy color and sleek appearance, which looks luxurious. I also like that the products, except for the masks, come in pump packaging, making application very easy. There’s a handy spatula available to apply the mask – I don’t particularly appreciate applying masks with my fingers as I have long nails, and products get easily stuck behind them.
The overall look of the products is excellent! When I put the products on my skincare shelf, they looked amazingly sleek and aesthetically – I was excited to use them. Looking back, I had a first impression of the BB Skin products when I tried the Bali Body Hydrating Sheet Mask, and I can tell you, it made me even more excited.

Feeling
All products feel nice on the skin, are not thick or sticky, and are never greasy. They absorb quickly into the skin and leave my skin feeling nourished.
The Pro-Collagen Cream might not feel hydrating enough if you have really dry skin. When I first used it, I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to leave it like this or apply a moisturizer, as it felt like I needed a little bit more hydration.
I’ve tried this with a moisturizer on top, which worked perfectly fine, and without a moisturizer on top, and eventually, this felt good too. Based on this, I would recommend applying a moisturizer if you have really dry skin and leaving it like this if you have any other skin type.
The Detoxifying Clay Mask isn’t dehydrating the skin and doesn’t make my skin feel tight after using it, which I was scared of at first. I used this mask once a week, and I’m sure it helped calm my skin.
The Enzyme Exfoliant and the Vitamin D Serum might be my favorites of all products; the Exfoliant is super gentle but does a great job evening out the skin. It’s hard to say if the Vitamin D Serum works, as this is more of an internal process, I would say, but I really enjoyed using it, and it feels very pleasantly on the skin.
Texture
As I said, the texture of all products feels lightweight – the Detoxifying Mask has a thicker texture, but this seems obvious to me, and it isn’t unpleasantly thick – and is easy to apply. On top of that, I think all of them are very gentle, so a lot of skin types will really enjoy the products.
The products have a soft scent to them; however, they are actually free from added fragrance to make them suitable for sensitive skin. The soft scent comes from the natural ingredients in the product, so if you’re sensitive to fragrances in skincare products, you don’t have to worry and can still use these products.
Results
When I started using this product range, my skin was irritated and prone to breakouts. Even though I felt it was hormonal, my skin could use extra help to return to its normal, calm state. Not going to lie; I was scared to use the new BB Skin products on my already irritated skin – you never know with a new brand in town.
Not once made these products make my skin feel even more irritated than it already was. It never felt tingly, itchy, burning, or had any unpleasant effects. Instead, my skin seemed to love it right away!
We’re close to a month later, and my skin is way less irritated and red. Breakouts are close to gone, and my skin tone is evened out. Also, I got an incredible natural-looking glow and very soft skin.
I wouldn’t necessarily say that these products improved the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, but other than that, I genuinely feel like my skin is nourished, evened out, clearer, calm, and glowing again.
Final Verdict
I’m pleasantly surprised by the BB Skin products! I’m usually not a huge fan of brands with a specific niche adding products that aren’t their core specialty, but I genuinely feel like this brand is made with love and, most importantly, fantastic + working ingredients.
My skin never once reacted poorly to the products; my skin actually loved it right away. Now a couple of weeks later, I have soft, radiant-looking skin that’s calmed down and happy again. I have zero complaints, and I’m sure I’ll add the morning routine products to my collection to try too!
