BECCA Cosmetics recently came out with a collaboration collection. They decided to make a BFF Collection with Khloé Kardashian and Malika Haqq. The collection includes 4 lipsticks, 2 BECCA palettes for the face, and Glow Letters (mini baked highlighters). I bought the Made With Love By Khloé BECCA palette for the face and Yours Truly lipstick and in this blog post, I’m going to tell you what my thoughts are on both of the items I got.

The description said this lipstick would be a pinky neutral but having it in my hands, I do think it looks more like a peachy nude. It made me slightly disappointed because peachy/orange shades don’t suit me very well. However, I still wanted to give it a try and test out the formula as well.

The lipstick is very pigmented and applied really smooth. The color isn’t super warm toned but I do think it’s still more peachy than pinkish. But the formula of the lipstick feels super nice, on my arm but also on my lips.

When I tried it on I was actually pleasantly surprised! However it isn’t the most stunning color on me, it didn’t look horrible either! I think I can pull this off. I might try it with some lip liner beneath it and see if it looks better that way. Overall, I really do like the lipstick itself (not focussing on the color now) and I really want to try out more BECCA lipsticks for sure.

I also bought the BECCA Yours Truly Lipstick, which is also a part of this collection, and reviewed that one as well. If you’re curious to see how I liked the lipstick, please check out my review.

In today’s blog post, we’re focussing on the BECCA Made With Love by Khloé Face palette. The palette contains 4 pretty huge pans: 2 blushes, a highlighter, and a bronzer. This palette retails for $44 and contains 12 g /.42 Oz.

A full-face palette created in collaboration with #BECCABFFs, Khloé & Malika, includes Soft Focus highlighter, bronzer and 2 Radiant blushes.

The application was very easy and very nice. It went on very smoothly. The texture is a good, normal texture. Not special, just good. Longevity is very good since all of the 4 shades stayed on the whole day. The pigmentation is how it should be when it comes to the blushes and the bronzer. The highlighter could’ve been a bit more blinding, but it’ll give you a perfect natural glow.

The blushes have a little sparkle in them but it’s not really showing on the face or my arm swatches. However, keep in mind it’s not truly matte. If you don’t like sparkly blushes, I don’t think you will really mention the sparkles though. The bronzer is matte and very pretty, it gives me the perfect bronzed look I love for spring and summer. I think this palette is most suited for fair to light skin tones, maybe medium skin tones can wear at least the blushes and highlighter. The bronzer might be too light for medium skin tones.

The blushes and bronzer don’t really look very pigmented, but keep in mind you don’t want a lot of pigment on your face immediately. You want to be able to build this up. When I use this palette on my face, it’s pigmented enough and very lovely. The bronzer does a good job warming up my face and the highlighter gives a natural glow.

Have you tried something from the BECCA BFF Collection?

See you next time loves,

xoxo Simone

  1. What a bummer that the lippie color doesn’t match the description – but I do love that peachy nude shade! ?

  2. It’s a shame about the lipstick not being quite your colour because it looks stunning, but different tones suit different people. This collection intrigued me when it came out but wasn’t sure whether to go for it now. Would you say it’s worth spending your money on? x

    1. Exactly! Not every shade has to be my tone haha.

I do think it’s worth the money! However, If you already have a lot of blushes/highlighters then I wouldn’t say you need the face palette. But I really enjoy using it though! The lipstick formula is also great! I really recommend trying one of them 🙂
