Lipstick is a powerful way to accentuate your lips, make them look fuller, and even make a statement if you want to. However, since lipstick is an everyday staple in everyone’s life, the market is saturated with an array of lip color shades and formulas to cater to every lip-loving gal’s unique taste. As I’ve heard amazing things about the Buxom Lipsticks, glosses, and lip liners, I needed to try the formula myself. I’m writing this post and sharing 4 reasons why I (also) LOVE the Buxom lipstick and lip liner formulas.

Let me start off with the fact that I’m fairly new to Buxom in general, I haven’t tried any of their products before, but I have been seeing their Plump Shot™ Collagen-Infused Lip Serum everywhere. As I’m scared of full-on lip plumping products that like hurt your lips almost, I thought it was a better idea to start with a Buxom Lipstick instead. As I’m a sucker for lip liners, too, I wanted to try the Buxom ones as I thought they looked different from other lip liners in my collection (based on the shape of the tip of the liner).

4 Reasons Why I Love The Buxom Lipstick and Lip Liners

Shades shown in the pictures above are Buxom Full Force Lipstick in Heartthrob and Power Line Plumping Lip Liner in Smooth Spice.

1. Lipstick Has A Cooling Sensation

The lipstick has a soft tingling and a cooling sensation to it. I like this way of plumping the lips because it’s not hurting them but still making them look fuller and plump. Due to the added hyaluronic acid and conditioning oils, my lips feel very soft and hydrated. The formula also visibly fills and smooths the lip liners, which I really like. The lip liner doesn’t have the tingling and cooling sensation, which I don’t mind, but it does help make my lips look fuller and plump.

2. Both Are Long-Lasting

The Buxom Full Force Lipstick and the Power Line Plumping Lip Liners are long-wearing; however, the lip liners are longer-wearing than the lipsticks. Due to the creamy formula of the lipsticks, they fade easier, but they stay on for 2-3 hours. They fade quicker when eating or drinking (they aren’t transfer-proof). The lip liners are creamy when you apply them, but once they’re on the lips, they look matte and stay on for, I would say, at least 5-6 hours. I also love that the lip liner has a brush side, so you can soften the liner if you want to!

3. Easy Application

The incredibly soft, velvety, and lightweight formula of the Buxom lipsticks, as well as the lip liners, allows for an easy application. The Buxom lipsticks and lip liners glide on smoothly! Especially the lipsticks are as smooth as butter, and the teardrop-shaped tip effortlessly hugs every curve, so it’s easy to throw this lipstick on and go out in seconds. The lip liners have this unique chiseled tip that provides precise results, which I really like too.

4. Pigmented

The Buxom lipsticks and lip liners are super pigmented. The smooth formula is also easily buildable, you get a gorgeous color payoff with just one swipe, but you can add more layers to really make the color pop. The lipstick has a satin finish which I really like. The lip liners have a suede matte finish. The lip liner and lipstick together leave my lips looking full, plump, and smoother while still being super comfortable, hydrating, and lightweight. Really nice!

Best Formula Ever?

Do I recommend the Buxom Lipsticks and Lip Liners? absolutely! Do I think that these are the best products ever? No, I don’t. The Buxom Lip Liners can’t beat the Huda Beauty lip liners, the Kylie Cosmetics lip liners, or the Make Up For Ever lip liners. The Buxom Lipsticks can’t beat the Huda Beauty Power Bullet Cream Glow Lipsticks or Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipsticks. However, plumping-wise this is truly one of the best plumping lipsticks out there. I haven’t seen many other lip-plumping lipsticks on the market, so if you’re looking for something plumping and not a gloss, I think you need to try these Buxom Lipsticks!

Conclusion

If you’re looking for a comfortable and fuss-free formula, plumping, and lasts long, look no further than the Buxom lipsticks. The formula is easy to apply, lightweight, and hydrating. The Buxom lip liner is a great addition to my collection but isn’t the best I’ve ever tried.
