Cult Beauty Makeup Haul | May 2019

It all started with me watching Nicol Concilio’s YouTube Video about her $1300 Sephora VIB Haul and some minutes later, I found myself scrolling at the Sephora France website. However, this website doesn’t have all the brands I was looking for and I somehow found Cult Beauty. Long story short, I ended with a Cult Beauty Makeup Haul.

Cult Beauty was born when two skincare obsessives grew frustrated by the all-too-often condescending messaging (and underwhelming offerings) they came across throughout the beauty industry. Having invested in innumerable ineffective creams and disappointing serums, Jess and Lex both vowed to boycott bathroom cabinets full of hollow promises (and wasted pounds).

Cult Beauty has a dedicated team of beauty devotees on the hunt for the coolest cult products the world has to offer – from the latest scientific discoveries to hundred-year-old remedies that have never been bettered – Cult Beauty is the destination for those looking for the next big thing. They pride themselves on their transparency (they list full ingredients and publish all reviews) and only sell the products that blow them away.

Cult Beauty is based in the United Kingdom, which is so exciting for European makeup lovers, like me, who don’t want to spend so much money on custom charges but still want to enjoy worldwide based makeup. It’s not always easy to get beauty from the United States so it’s amazing to see Cult Beauty selling some of the brands we wouldn’t be able to buy from without Cult Beauty.

Cult Beauty Makeup Haul

One of the most exciting things to me is that I’ve never tried products from these brands before. I’ve bought products from Drunk Elephant, Summer Fridays, Briogeo, and Sol de Janeiro. In conclusion, I got myself some skincare, haircare, and body oil yay! Moreover, this is my first time ordering products at Cult Beauty.

I bought my products on Monday, May 6th, it shipped Tuesday, May 7th and it arrived Saturday, May 11th. That’s super quick! You’ll also get some free samples if you order for $50 or more. My products were packed safely and that’s how they’ve arrived as well. I’m very pleased with how quickly Cult Beauty processed my order and how fast my products arrived!

Summer Fridays Overtime Mask

Nicol bought this Summer Fridays Overtime Mask and she made me very curious! So I had to get one and try for myself. Recently, I’m getting more into skincare so this is a good addition to my collection. It’s supposed to give you a luminous glow packed with vitamin-rich pumpkin, apricot seed powder, oat kernel protein, and vitamin E.

Drunk Elephant No. 9 Jelly Cleaner

I have to admit that I’ve never heard of Drunk Elephant before I saw Nicol’s VIB Sale haul. She didn’t buy this one, but she actually introduced the brand to me by showing another product from the brand. Since I don’t really like my current cleanser, I was ready to try a new one and so I picked up this Drunk Elephant Jelly Cleanser!

Sol de Janeiro GLow Motion Goldie Rocks Glow Oil

This brand is the only brand I knew before I saw Nicol’s video. I heard so many things about their Bum Bum Cream (which was sold out when I ordered these products, BUT I bought it in the meantime!) and I’m enthusiastic about the brand. Since it’s going to be better weather (hopefully, here in the Netherlands you’ll never know…) I needed some shimmer body oil in my life! The smell of this Sol de Janeiro Glow Oil is amazing, I’m so in love!

Briogeo Farewell Frizz Conditioning Spray

The last product I’ve bought is this Briogeo Farewell Frizz conditioning spray. I swear… my frizz has a life of its own recently. There’s no gel or hairspray that can contain my frizz. Since Nicol has frizzy hair too and recommended this, I had to buy it. Let’s hope it’ll help me contain my hair lol. If I like this product, I might end up buying the shampoo and conditioner as well!

Do you like my hauls? Here’s another one!

Did you buy some products during the Sephora VIB Sale? Or have you ever ordered from Cult Beauty? Let me know in the comments!
