I’m always intrigued by new, innovative beauty devices. The CurrentBody LED Mask attracted me immediately as the reviews aren’t lying: this beauty device really works.
Some people even included photos of deep wrinkles that are gone and non-existing texture after using this LED Mask – I knew I needed this.
I’m not going to lie; I’m always a little skeptical about beauty devices. I don’t know why I have this, but I’m critical. I have to see results on myself before I honestly say it’s a good product, and that’s what I did.
I’ve been trying the CurrentBody LED Mask for four weeks now, and I’m sharing my thoughts.
- High-quality product with great design
- Very flexible and comfortable to have on
- Safe for the eyes and isn’t painful at all
- My skin looks/feels firmer and tighter
- My skin looks more even, healthy, and balanced
- Quite an investment
- Not much difference in fine lines yet
Even though I can be very skeptical, I truly believe in the power of technology. This CurrentBody LED Mask has been made to medical device directives and delivers the same clinically-proven wavelengths as professional salon machines.
It is 100% safe and 100% pain-free, and there is never a risk of having too much exposure. Sounds incredible, right?!
What Is The Currentbody LED Mask
The Currentbody website on the LED Mask: “As we age, the skin can lose between 20 – 80% of its thickness. This pain-free, anti-aging mask harnesses two combinations of light therapy to rejuvenate your complexion.
Red Light stimulates the production of new collagen, calms redness, and creates an even skin tone. Near Infra-Red works beneath the skin’s surface. Penetrating deep into the skin’s surface boosts circulation, improves blood flow, and boosts oxygen to the skin’s cells.”
Best Suited For
The Currentbody Skin LED Mask is suitable for everybody; however, they don’t recommend using the mask if you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, or trying to become pregnant and if you suffer from conditions like Lupus, photosensitive eczema, and Albinism.
How To Use CurrentBody Led Mask
Make sure you have clean and dry skin before you put on the mask. You can apply a serum like the CurrentBody Green Tea serum if you want, just don’t apply your entire skincare routine just yet.
Then, you put the mask on your face, and the openings on the sides go around your ears. Make sure your eyes, nose, and mouth are in their openings, and the mask lays comfortable on your face.
When you’re ready to start, just press the button for a couple of seconds, and the lights will turn on. Now it’s time to lie down and relax! Once you hit the 10 minutes, it’ll turn off, and you can apply the rest of your skincare routine.
Things To Note
The device uses the same gold-standard LED technology that doctors and salons worldwide use. The device is clinically proven to reduce wrinkles by 35% in 4 weeks.
Plus, 95% of users said their skin tone, texture, firmness, and tightness were improved.
Before your first treatment, it is recommended to do a sensitivity test. To do this: place the device over your inner arm, switch on the device, and finish the 10-minute treatment. Take the device off if it feels hot or uncomfortable at any time during the treatment.
Where To Buy
The CurrentBody LED Face Mask retails for $315.00 and is available at the CurrentBody website currentbody.com. Using my code CBSIMONE, the final price comes to $267.75.

Follow with the Glow Serum for a bright, glistening complexion. And lock in moisture all day with the Hyaluronic Acid Serum or layer on the Green Tea Serum to amplify the effects of your LED mask treatment.

The Power of Four Skincare Set Review
As this review is mainly about the LED Mask, I didn’t want to draw all the attention to the Skincare Set, but I couldn’t pass on sharing my thoughts about them because they’re really good! the serums are available in the set, but also separately if preferred (the set is a good deal, though it gives you some discount).
Even though I was surprisingly impressed by all four serums, the Hyaluronic Acid serum and the Green Tea serum spoke to me the most.
My skin has been breaking out a lot, I think due to hormones, and looked/felt irritated and red. The combination of the Hyaluronic Acid and Green Tea serum helped my skin calm down, giving it a hydration boost and leaving it looking less red.
If you’re not ready to invest in the Currentbody Mask, you may want to check out the serums instead. They’re pretty affordable, very pleasantly, and effective.
CurrentBody LED Mask Review
I have tried beauty tools like Ice Globes and a Rose Quartz Face Roller, but I’ve never used something so astonishing. I was looking forward to receiving it; even the packaging did not disappoint. It arrived in a gorgeous, sleek white box, looking very luxurious.
I found the LED Mask, a USB Charging Cable, and a user manual in the box. They even included toggles, even though the mask is eye safe.
The quality of the CurrentBody Skin LED Mask is fantastic. For some reason, I didn’t expect the mask to be this flexible, so this was a pleasant surprise. It’s easy to put on your face, as it folds over the face the moment you put it there. Due to its flexibility, the LED Mask is quite comfortable too.
Ease Of Use
The CurrentBody Mask is easy to prepare for the treatment. You only have to ensure the charging cable is connected, so the treatment starts immediately after you push the button. After 10 minutes, the LED Mask turns off automatically, so you don’t have to watch the time yourself – super easy!
The results I see after using the CurrentBody LED Mask every other day, four times a week on an average base, for the last four weeks is that my skin looks firmer and tighter. I’ve had some small scars from past pimples that are less visible now too.
As I already told you, the CurrentBody serums significantly influenced my irritated and red skin, but I think the LED Mask has influenced this process too. My skin looks more even and balanced after four weeks (and if I’m ignoring the hormonal pimples). Overall, I’m impressed by this!
I was planning on posting photos right away, but as my skin is still acting up, the irritation and redness are reduced because of the serums, but the pimples and little red bumps are still here, so I decided not to post photos just yet.
The LED Mask can help with skin concerns such as acne, which I didn’t notice. However, my current acne is hormonal, which has a different cause than general acne, which can be why the mask didn’t work for my pimples.
When it comes to fine lines, I haven’t seen much of a difference yet. I don’t have many fine lines yet, but I have smile lines and a fine line between my brows because of frowning. I don’t think these have disappeared, but I have high hope that if I continue the treatment, I will see results in a couple of weeks.
I also asked my mom to join me in using the CurrentBody Mask because she has a little bit more fine lines and wrinkles – not trying to be mean, Mom! I hope I can share her results in a couple of weeks too.
If I were to post photos now, it would look like the Mask made my skin worse, and that’s not the picture I want to paint, as this isn’t true! I’ll keep using the mask and wait for my skin to calm down, then I’m adding the before & after pictures, so they’re coming! Just as the before & after results from my mom.
Overall, I think this CurrentBody Skin LED Mask is a fantastically designed product that is flexible, comfortable to wear, and safe for the eyes. The results I saw in 4 weeks were improvement in firmness and tightness while also looking healthier and balanced.
I haven’t seen a difference in fine lines yet, but I’m expecting this to happen in a couple of weeks – 4 weeks isn’t that long for results to show up. I will update this post once I have photos from my mom & my results + if I see any differences in fine lines etc.
