These 2 Rosy Glow Dior Blushes in Pink & Coral Are Unique
The Rosy Glow Dior Blushes in Pink and Coral belong to one of the most popular Dior Beauty products, just because they went viral on TikTok. But since Dior is a luxury brand, you might be wondering if you really need to spend $39 on a single blush – isn’t that a waste of money? Isn’t there a more affordable dupe? Is this Dior Rosy Glow Blush really unique?
I will be answering all these questions, sharing my thoughts, swatches, and so much more, so keep reading for all the details!
- Pigmentation is opaque but buildable
- Applies evenly to the skin
- Blends out with minimal effort
- Works well with and without foundation
- The Color Technology makes them unique
- Expensive
Dior quickly stole a place in my heart once I started trying more and more of their products. The Dior Backstage Face & Body Foundation is one of my favorite foundations, and now I can add these blushes to the list (and.. even more products that I’ll be reviewing on the blog soon). I’m excited to show you everything about these expensive but unique Dior blushes!
What Is The Rosy Glow Dior Blush
The Rosy Glow Dior Blush 001 and 004 in Pink and Coral are a secret weapon to create the appearance of naturally rosy cheeks for a fresh, glowy effect. Infused with color reviver technology, this innovative blush reacts to the skin’s moisture level upon application to deliver a customized rosy effect. The result is a natural, instant healthy glow that lasts all day long.
How To Use
Apply using your favorite blush brush, lightly stroking color onto the top of your cheekbones. Wait a few moments for the custom, ultra-natural pink or coral shade (depending on which shade you picked) to be revealed.
Things To Note
Infused with Color Reviver technology, the Dior Blush reacts to the skin’s moisture level upon application to deliver a customized rosy effect. This means that the blush will look different and unique for each and every person.
A warning for my cruelty-free beauty supporters: sadly, Dior is not cruelty-free.
Where To Buy
The Dior Rosy Glow Blushes retail for $39 each and are available at Dior’s own website dior.com, Sephora, Nordstrom, and Douglas.
Rosy Glow Dior Blush Swatches & Review
The Dior 001 Pink Backstage Rosy Glow Blush ($37.00 for 0.16 oz.) is the Dior Blush Kylie Jenner supposedly used every day, which is the reason this blush got extremely popular. The blush is a pop of cotton candy pink with cool blue undertones and a satin finish.
Pigmentation
It has opaque pigmentation, you won’t apply too much in one go, but you can build it up if you want to; that applies evenly to the skin and blends out with minimal effort. The finish is truly satin – not shimmery but not matte, just skin-like, natural, and glowy.
The Dior 004 Coral Backstage Rosy Glow Blushย ($37.00 for 0.16 oz.) is a light-medium coral-orange with warm undertones and a satin finish. Like its pink sister, it has an opaque pigmentation and applies evenly to the skin. The finish is truly satin – not shimmery but not matte, just skin-like, natural, and glowy.
Texture
The texture is quite firm but smooth if you touch it with your finger, but you can easily pick it up with a brush. The blushes work well on bare skin as well as over foundation. You don’t have to worry that you have to go bare face to make the technology do its thing; it also works with foundation.
Longevity
The technology really adjusts to your skin, as you can tell that it doesn’t look as bright on the face as it looks swatched or in the pan (see picture below). It will settle into the skin and adds a custom pinkish/orangy, not as bright, blush. On top of that, the blush wore well and stayed visible all day.
In my opinion, this formula is really unique, which makes this Dior Blushes worth the money. However, I do think you need only one of them. Which one to pick depends on your preferences. My favorite one is the 001 Pink as I love pink blushes.
Just know that it doesn’t matter which one you pick; the formula is the exact same – only the color payoff will be pinker or more orange, obviously. If you do not want to spend $39 on a single blush, just wait for a sale to grab them or try the Dior Blush dupes I mention below. No one can tell it’s not the real deal. ๐
Alternatives – Dior Blush Dupes
Final Verdict
Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Yes 2x. The color reviver technology is what makes the Dior Blushes unique and worth the money. However, I recommend picking up just one of the two shades. The texture is firm but easy to work with as these blushes apply evenly and blend effortlessly. The finish is satin, not matte, but not shimmery, either. Just a very pretty, skin-like, and natural glowy finish.
