Trying out Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint lipsticks is something I have on my wishlist for a while. The bright red Stunna Lip Paint isn’t something I would wear, so I’m super excited to see Fenty Beauty expand their shade range with nude lipsticks! I’ve finally bought one shade to try, I’ll tell you everything about it in today’s blog post!

I really want to love all the Fenty Beauty products Rihanna sells but I didn’t have a lot of luck with the foundation and the Killawat highlighter. However, the Fenty Beauty concealer and the Gloss Bomb have been amazing. I still like to try Fenty Beauty products and the Stunna Lip Paint has been talked about a lot. I really like the shade Uncuffed so I ended up buying that one and I’ve been trying it for a while. Today I’m sharing my thoughts and swatches.

The shade Uncuffed is my favorite one from the new nude shades. This shade is so stunning!  It’s a rosy mauve shade and it has a matte finish.

The packaging is really pretty. It looks more like a luxurious nail polish bottle than a lipstick. However, I love the look of it and it’s just something different than a normal lipstick bottle.

One thing that is hard for me to get used to is the applicator. It’s very different than a normal applicator. I can see how precisely it applies the lipstick but I do prefer a normal one.

Uncuffed is a stunning rosy mauve and I love the shade so much. As you can tell, it looks a little darker on me than other people but it’s fine. The formula is extremely lightweight, I don’t think I ever tried something which feels lighter than this. It’s super pigmented, applies really smooth and it’s long-wear proof!

This is what is stated on the Fenty Beauty website

Give it to me quick:

A weightless, 12-hour liquid lipstick with a soft matte finish—born in a range of head-turning shades that look incredible on all skin tones.

Tell me more:

When life’s all about taking risks, wearing liquid lipstick shouldn’t be one of them. Enter Stunna Lip Paint: The love child of high-impact color and low-maintenance longwear—now in a range of head-turning shades that’s got everyone’s name on them. Each shade was hand-picked by Rihanna and created to look incredible on everyone.

Equal parts class and sass, Stunna Lip Paint goes from zero to 100 in one stroke of its lip-defining precision wand, making it easier than ever to dress your entire pout in show-stopping, soft matte pigment. Its serious 12-hour hold is so weightless, if it weren’t for the non-stop compliments, you’d forget you were even wearing it. And if that weren’t enough—Stunna Lip Paint won’t feather, staying kissably smooth. In other words, it behaves so you don’t have to.

Fenty Beauty is 100% cruelty free.

I totally agree with that it’s weightless, matte and one-stroke intensity. It’s definitely a long-wear lipstick but it didn’t stay on my lips for 12 hours. I think I managed a good 5 hours before it started to fade. That’s a pretty long time so I’m very happy about that!

Product Information

Since I threw the packaging away, I’m not able to find online how much this lipstick contains, I can’t tell you guys that. The lipstick retails for $24.

Final Thoughts

Overall, I’m pleasantly surprised by the Stunna Lip Paint! Most of the time, I’m very picky when it comes to liquid lipsticks but this formula is really nice and I’ll be using this lipstick way more often! I definitely would recommend it.

Hope to see you next time loves,

xoxo Simone

  1. I have the unveil shade in this and I completely agree with the weightless feel and one swipe intense colour. I am really enjoying wearing a darker colour than usual and it was a toss up between this shade and the one I bought. I hate that the one I have leaves the wet inner part of my lip bare and when I smile it isn’t totally visible. Does this do the same or is it less noticeable because it’s a lot lighter? I do love Fenty products in general though, compete convert!

    1. I recognize what you say about leaving the wet inner part of the lip bare! I kinda feel like this shade does that a little bit as well but not too bad. It might be because it’s a lot lighter than Unveil though!

      1. I was wondering if it was something that happens across the full range or just the super dark one… it’s annoying because the formula is really good for a matte lip, usually they feel so dry and horrid.

  2. I totally agree. The bright red one she came out with was a bit much for me. I was so excited when she launched more shades. I just bought the Unveil – Chocolate Brown one and I absolutely love it! I definitely can make it last longer if I watch what I eat and drink all day!
