35 Incredible Glitter Eyeshadow Looks

I’m obsessed with them all! Some are super glittery while other looks are more soft glittery and I like both of these looks actually. The glitter liner is for sure one of my favorites and I also love the last one, a pink glitter! Let me know in the comments what your favorite look is.
How To Apply Glitter Eyeshadow Like A Pro
As gorgeous as glitter eyeshadow looks, it can be challenging to apply. Not so great at preventing fallout and clumps? Don’t worry – I have a few quick tips that make glitter eyeshadow application a breeze.
- Start by applying a primer to your eyelids. This will help the glitter stick and stay in place.
- If you decide to use chunky glitters or want to add some to your face, use a glitter primer or glitter glue (NO normal glue, use a specifically made-for-the-face glue like this one from NYX).
- You can use the metallic shades in an eyeshadow palette, liquid eyeshadow, cream shadows, or pigments.
- Next, use a brush to apply the glitter eyeshadow. Start with a small amount and build up as needed.
- To avoid any fallout, gently pat the shadow on instead of sweeping it across your lid.
If you’re using an eyeshadow palette, you may want to wet your brush before dipping into the shadow to intensify the color payoff.
It is also possible to build up the pigment with different types of glitter. For example, you can start with metallic powder eyeshadow or a liquid eyeshadow and then add glitter pigments or chunky glitter on top.
If you’re like me and don’t want much trouble with glitter glue and glitters everywhere, I’m more than happy to share a couple of my personal favorite glitter products:
- The Tati Beauty Textured Eyeshadow Palette (sadly discontinued)
- The ILIA Liquid Powder Chromatic Eye Tint
- The KVD Beauty Dazzle Sticks

I absolutely love glitter eyeshadow looks but I can’t deal with the fall out. Always have the biggest struggle to remove it from EVERYWHERE on my face. The eyeshadow looks are verry pretty though.

A tip against fall out: use setting powder! Once you’re done with the glitters, you brush the setting powder away and no glitters everywhere! ?
I love glitter eyeshadow looks, especially when incorporated properly into a makeup look rather than just slapped onto the eye. I love the second look in particular! I have 3 completely unopened loose glitters in my collection so I think it’s time to dig them out now lol…
Totally agree, when I’m creating a look myself I always try to incorporate them in my look! And yesss get those loose glitters out!!
I’m obsessed with that glittery look where the glitter was applied underneath the lash line ??✨
I love that one too! So simple but still so lovely ?
I love the third one from the bottom. Great looks for Xmas parties
I can’t wait to play around with makeup to create looks like this for Christmas parties! 🙂
