What Is Glossier Lip Gloss

The Glossier Lip Gloss is a comfortable, long-wearing lip gloss with a glassy finish. It has a fuzzy doe-foot applicator that scoops up just the right amount of gloss, giving you instant shine in one swipe. It comes in various shades that all give an equally high-shine, glass-like finish that lasts, while Vitamin E and Jojoba Oil keep the lips cushiony soft, and moisturized.
How To Use
Sweep the Glossier Lip Gloss wand directly onto your lips for a cushiony, glassy shine. Use it alone or on top of your favorite lip liner, lipstick, or liquid lipstick.
Things To Note
The Glossier Lip Gloss is cruelty-free, vegan, dermatologist tested and formulated without alcohol.
Where To Buy
The Glossier Lip Gloss in Clear retails for $15 and is only available at the Glossier website glossier.com. Glossier will be at Sephora in early 2023, so keep your eyes out!
Glossier Lip Gloss Review

The Glossier Lip Gloss is a very good but basic lip gloss that is comfortable wearing and overall quite good. Do I think it’s unique or the best of the best? Not really. The formula is a little bit on the thicker side, but not too thick, and isn’t sticky.
It delivers a pretty shine to the lips and looks great alone or on top of lipstick. But I wouldn’t go out of my way to grab another one if it’s empty. I don’t even think I would miss it, to be honest. Not because it’s a bad gloss, not at all, but I do have other options that I like more and which I reach for way more often.
As I said, This Glossier Lip Gloss is a comfortable and moisturizing lip gloss with lip treatment effects based on ingredients such as Vitamin E and Jojoba oil. It’s a two-in-one product, it hydrates the lips while delivering a high-shine finish. I love a makeup and skincare hybrid!
The Lip Gloss isn’t exceptionally long-wearing, but since it’s gloss, it is expected. It was gone within 1-1.5 hours, even without eating or drinking. My lips feel smooth and soft after wearing this, which is a benefit. Other than that, I don’t think this gloss is special.

Final Verdict
The Glossier Lip Gloss formula is comfortable, non-sticky, and delivers a shiny finish. My lips feel pretty smooth and soft after the gloss faded, which is nice. It does its job and is a very decent basic gloss. However, it’s not long-wearing, and I don’t think it’s a unique product worth spending your money on. You won’t be disappointed if you buy it, but there are better glosses on the market.

Show All Ingredients +What Does Vitamin E Do For The Lips?
Vitamin E is a fat-soluble or lipid-soluble nutrient mainly involved in metabolic processes like cell signaling, hormone balance, and gene expression. It’s also the most prevalent fat-soluble vitamin in the skin, so it earns high praise in dermatology as well—that’s why experts recommend applying it topically, explains Jamy Schneider from mbglifestyle. The benefits of Vitamin E for the lips are:
- Moisturizes: Vitamin E helps to hydrate and has emollient properties that help support the skin barrier.
- Calms: Due to the antioxidant properties of Vitamin E, they provide soothing, anti-inflammatory effects.
- Plumps: Vitamin E oil helps to fill the lips with moisture, conditions them, and keeps them plump.
- Heals: Vitamin E oil can speed up wound healing. This makes it perfect for healing chapped lips.
What Does Jojoba Oil Do For The Lips?
“Jojoba oil is a product that is extracted from the jojoba plant. This plant is found natively in parts of northern Mexico, Arizona, and California. Locals have been using jojoba oil for centuries. It’s very effective in moisturizing dry skin and hair,” says Cara Davis from Eat.Quick.Healthy.
- Moisturizes: Jojoba oil hydrates the lips and locks in moisture.
- Protects: You probably didn’t know yet, but Jojoba oil forms a protective layer over your lips to protect against the sun.
- Improves: Jojoba oil contains vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. They help fight the symptoms of damage and hyperpigmentation.
