I’m not sure if it’s just me, but sales make me so excited! Especially Sephora sales are my favorite. I love to splurge on beauty products from brands that normally don’t really have sales that often or to get Holiday collections, products, or gift sets with a little discount. Moreover, this is the perfect time to buy presents for your loved ones! In this blog post, I’m going to give you all my recommendations for the Holiday Sephora Sale 2020.
Since I’ve tried a lot of beauty products – probably a little too much – I know exactly which products are good or aren’t. A little disclaimer, this is obviously based on my own experiences with the products. However, based on the Sephora reviews I think I gathered a couple of products not only I like, but A LOT of people love!
This is the first year that I’m officially a Rouge member, which I think is so exciting. If you don’t know yet, Sephora has three different categories: Beauty Insider (free to join), VIB (spend $350 a year), and Rouge (spend $1000 a year). The category you’re in is based on your spendings. The more you spend, the more benefits you get. Rouge is the highest level.
Start of the Sephora Sale 2020 & amount of discount:
- Rouge: 10/30 – 11/9 | 20% off
- VIB: 11/3 – 11/9 | 15% off
- Insider: 11/5 – 11/9 | 10% off
Use code: HOLIDAYFUN
I do think this sale is most beneficial for Rouge members BUT I personally always got some products with 15% off too because it’s still saving you money!
The products I recommend in this blog post are all products I’ve tried before. If you’re curious to see what I’m getting during the Sephora Sale 2020, I’ve included a list at the end of this blogpost. The reason why I’m not including them in my recommendations is pure because I haven’t tested them yet. I don’t want to recommend a product if I haven’t tested it first because I even though I like a brand or a similar product, that doesn’t mean all their products are great.
My Recommendations for the Sephora Sale 2020
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Lips – $34
Charlotte Tilbury did have a Black Friday sale last year, but since it was on selected items only I’m including this one in my recommendations list. I personally really love this formula a lot!
The formula surprised me since it made my lips look less textured and very smooth. The colors are very stunning as well! I love the shade Too Bad I’m Bad.
Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution in Pillow Talk – $34
Charlotte Tilbury did have a Black Friday sale last year, but since it was on selected items only I’m including this one in my recommendations list.
I have been talking about this lipstick a lot but I really think every beauty lover should have Pillow Talk in their collection. It’s just a perfect rosy nude lipstick! If nude is not your thing, Charlotte Tilbury has many more shades in this awesome matte formula!
Drunk Elephant Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser – $32
Even though I haven’t done an in-depth review of the Drunk Elephant Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser, I’ve mentioned it several times on my blog and shared my love for this cleanser.
I think it is a very soft, non-stripping cleanser. It perfectly removes makeup and leaves the skin clean. Moreover, Drunk Elephant is committed to using only ingredients that either directly benefits the health of the skin or support the integrity of their formulations.
Fenty Beauty Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blushes – $20
One of the products that I’ve been loving a lot since the moment I tried them is the Fenty Beauty Cream Blushes. I couldn’t recommend them enough! If you don’t have one in your collection, I can only say that this is the perfect time to get one (or more) with a discount.
Fenty Beauty Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Bronzer – $32
Another favorite of mine is the Fenty Beauty Cream Bronzer. I personally use the shade Butta Biscuit and it’s the most stunning, natural-looking bronzer I’ve ever used. The formula is amazing and stays on perfectly, even though it’s a cream product. This one is a must-have!
Huda Beauty Nude Obsessions Palettes – $24 each
Let me start off by mentioning that it might be more beneficial to get these palettes during Huda Beauty’s Black Friday sale. Last year they had a 40%-60% sitewide discount. But if you’re not able to or don’t want to order through Huda Beauty directly, you could pick them up during the Sephora Sale 2020.
If you love a nude palette, you need at least one out of the three in your collection!
Huda Beauty Power Bullet Lipstick – $25 each
Again, the Huda Beauty Black Friday sale might be more beneficial but if you’re not able to or don’t want to order through Huda Beauty directly, you could pick them up during the Sephora Sale 2020.
The Huda Beauty Power Bullet Lipsticks became a favorite of mine very quickly. It’s a stunning matte looking formula, but doesn’t feel dry on the lips.
Melt Cosmetics Twenty Seven Palette – $58
Just like Huda Beauty, I expect a better sale from Melt Cosmetics during Black Friday but if you’re not able to or don’t want to order directly through their website Sephora is a perfect way to still get some discount.
I really love the Twenty Seven palette and I’m using it with a lot of pleasure. I’m in the middle of testing a couple more Melt palettes so I can’t recommend them yet but I also think the Rust palette is stunning!
Melt Cosmetics Digital Dust Highlighter – $39
The Melt Digital Dust highlighter became one of my favorite highlighters very quickly. I had to go through a first layer (so keep this in mind when purchasing) before I really saw the real pigment. The formula feels dry at first, but that’s the first layer I’m talking about. After that, you’ll have the most stunning glow using this highlighter.
Milk Makeup Hydrating Oil – $26
I love to use this Milk Makeup Hydrating Oil when my skin is really dry. The moment I use this oil and rub it into my skin, my skin feels way less tight immediately.
I really recommend this skincare product if you have dry skin!
Patrick Ta Monochrome Moment Precision Lip Crayon – $26
This lip liner really surprised me! I thought the idea was very inovative and I also really like how you can click on the bottom to get new product out. The formula of this Patrick Ta product is also very good, it’s creamy and smooth. One of my favorite lip liners for sure!
Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Cream – $20
I’m not doing well with body butter and body lotion most of the time. Some body products take 6 years to get into the skin and I hate that. This Sol de Janeiro product is my favorite body lotion for sure. It dries quickly and the smell… I don’t think there’s another smell in the world I like more than this!
Products I’ve Tried But No Review (Yet!)
There are a couple of products I’ve tried but I’m still working on writing the review, editing photos, etc etc. I wanted to give you a little sneak peek of the products I recently tried and loved.
The Products I’m Going To Buy
As promised, here’s the list of products that I’m certainly going to buy during the Sephora Sale 2020. I had a lot more products on my list but I bought a lot of products a little while back already. As if I didn’t have enough. 🙂
While I’m writing this post, I saw that Makeup by Mario launched a Holiday Collection and Huda Beauty Naughty Nude is going to launch in a couple of days so I’m probably adding a couple of more products to the list below.
Are you going to buy anything during this Holiday Sephora Sale 2020? Are you a Sephora Rouge, VIB, or Insider? Let me know in the comments!
