Naughty Nude Eyeshadow Palette ⋆ Beautymone
Published by Simone de Vlaming on January 9, 2021

I recently bought the Huda Beauty Naughty Nude Eyeshadow palette because I really love the color story and seems like the perfect palette for creating a sexy makeup look. Moreover, I also love the story behind this palette which Huda shared on her own YouTube channel. Because the whole palette vibe is self-love, self-acceptance, sexuality, and confidence I thought it would be a good idea to create a sexy makeup look while using the Naughty Nude palette.

Let me start off with a little disclaimer: I’m not a makeup artist and the looks I create aren’t special or extremely talented/artistic/beautiful. I’m okay with that because I’m not aspiring to become a makeup artist, I just like to play with makeup and try my best to create something I think is beautiful. I just thought it would be fun to share the sexy makeup look I created with this palette and share my thoughts on the palette at the same time. 🙂

The palette doesn’t look her best, sadly she came in all broken and I tried to fix her. Not the prettiest palette anymore but I think I did a pretty decent job repairing her lol.

The Naughty Nude Eyeshadow Palette is basically the naughty sister of the Huda Beauty New Nude Palette. Whereas New Nude is a soft, romantic, pinkish palette, Naughty Nude has your brownish, burgundy, and spicy colors. Perfect for a sexy makeup look!

The palette contains 18 shades in 5 different and wearable textures:

  • 8 Velvety-Soft Mattes
  • 5 High-Shine Metallics
  • 3 Multi-Reflective Marble Creams
  • 1 Hypnotic Marble Cream
  • 1 never-seen-before Gloss with encapsulated Bronze & Berry Pearls

The Naughty Nude Palette retails for $67 and is cruelty-free, talc-free, and gluten-free.

Naughty Nude Swatches

The palette swatched amazingly and gave me so much inspiration and ideas for a makeup look. I immediately knew I wanted to use the shades Untamed and Provocative.

The palette is super pigmented, not too powdery, and not patchy (maybe Untamed and Spicy a slightly bit with one swipe but when I added another layer it looked like the picture above). The mattes are super soft and the metallics creamy and easy to apply without too much fallout on the face.

Slippery is the most talked-about shade since it looks a little weird and gross in the pan (it’s the shade with the balls in it and looks like mold lol) but it’s actually a pretty shade when swatched. I expected it to be more shimmery though, it basically looks like a matte shade but feels sticky.

The marble shades are absolutely stunning but I feel like they apply as just one shade instead of the mix you see in the palette pan. I don’t really mind that because I like how they look in the pan and the overall performance of each shade individually.

Sexy Makeup Look

As I already told you, I knew I had to use the shades Untamed and Provocative while creating this look. I also used a bit of Shameless and Irresistible in the inner corner. I used the shades Hard and Rough as transition and crease shades as well as to blend everything together.

I had to finish this look with a pretty big wing eyeliner as well since I think it matched the overall look and vibe I was going for.

It’s pretty much a soft look and I could’ve gone spicier but I felt like this is a look a lot of people could pull off and I’m just a basic b*tch who loves her neutral, soft looks lol!

What do you think of this palette and the look I created? Let me know in the comments!

  1. This palette was a weird release for me. I saw a lot of fire looks with it but I didn’t know if the colour story would be a bit too deep for me as I have fair skin. Also, I’ve got tonnes of neutral-based eyeshadow palettes lol.

However, I love the look you created! It’s sultry and understated in the best possible way. Not every makeup look needs to have loads and loads of colours, I like these stripped-back looks. You look fantastic x
