Even though I’ve tried multiple products from Jeffree Star Cosmetics, I’ve never tried an eyeshadow palette before. When Blood Sugar came out, I was very tempted to buy the palette but ended up not buying it. When I saw the Blue Blood palette, I was in love and had to get it. So today I’ll be reviewing the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Blue Blood Palette!

Since I really want to be more creative and try different looks, this palette seems to be the perfect one. I don’t own any blue palettes, or any very colorful palettes, at all so I was excited to see how I would like it. Besides that, after playing with the Colourpop x Disney Villains Misunderstood palette and really liking the blue shade in there, I’m even more excited.

The reason why I went for the Jeffree Star Blue Blood palette instead of the Jeffree Star Blood Sugar palette, is mostly because I didn’t have anything like this in my collection at all.

Moreover, I was curious to test out Jeffree Star Cosmetics shadows. I’m very pleased with other products (the liquid lipstick, highlighter, and bullet lipstick) so I had high expectations.

In today’s blog post I’m going to share swatches, my thoughts and some looks I made with the palette.

I swear, this untouched Blue Blood palette is even more stunning in real life. The packaging is something very unordinary which I think is fun. Moreover, the color scheme is very different as well. JSC dares to create something very unusual and lets people be more creative with makeup. Something I truly support. I recently discovered how much I like playing with colorful looks and being able to create.

The first row top to bottom: Cullinan – Metallic icy white, Mintea – Mint matte, Crystal Flesh – Metallic champagne, I’m Cold – Powder blue matte, Untouchable – Peachy pink matte, Priceless – Peachy nude matte.

This row contains the softer colors with a pop of minty green. The shadows might not look that good swatched, but I can guarantee you that they look amazing on the eyes! I’ll be sharing some looks I’ve made later in this blog post where you can see how pretty these shades are!

The second row top to bottom: Power – Slate grey matte with a blue undertone, Blue Blood – Baby blue matte, Deceased – Metallic azure blue, Icy Tray – Metallic pale blue, Blue Monday – Cobalt blue matte, Flourishing – Neon teal matte.

Hello, pigment!! These shades are absolutely stunning I can’t! The teal shade is my favorite. I truly love it!

The third row top to bottom: Wealthy – Light nude matte, Celebrity Skin – Soft brown matte, Entitled – Metallic teal with glitter reflects, Ocean Ice – Metallic sapphire with glitter reflects, Cremated – Cool green matte with grey undertones, Undertaker – Deep blue matte.

I swatched this row so ugly and uneven but that blue shade had me gagging! That’s why it’s way thicker than the others, I just had to apply more haha. The first shade isn’t visible because it’s pretty much my skin tone. The two darker shades might look a little patchy but they’re not!

Overall thoughts

The pigment is amazing, I created some fun looks with the palette and I think it’s very versatile. However, the palette does have some kickback in the pan and fallout. You have to keep that in mind when buying and using the palette.

I really love how different this eyeshadow palette is, the packaging as well as the actual inside. If you love to play with makeup and create some bold looks, this palette is definitely the one for you!
