The Kendall By Kylie Cosmetics Collection Round 2: if you know me, you know I screamed. I love the Kardashians, so when Kylie collabs with one of her sisters, I just have to get the collection!

The first Kendall By Kylie Cosmetics Collection was a huge success, in my opinion. I love Kendall, and the packaging of this collection is stunning, so first impressions are good… now putting the products to the test. Let’s go!

9.2Expert Score
Kendall By Kylie Cosmetics Collection
If I had to recommend just one product, I would recommend the Lip Crayon Set. Out of the whole collection, this is my favorite product. I feel this Kendall By Kylie Cosmetics Collection is cute; I love the packaging and the lovely color scheme, but the products’ formulas aren’t impressive or viral-worthy. Just lovely and good!

Pros
  • Cute and pretty packaging
  • Overall good products with nice formulas
  • Easy to use and long-wearing products
Cons
  • Maybe not the most unique products

Just to refresh your mind a bit, the first collection with Kendall included a pressed powder palette, a Lip Blush Lip Kit, a High Gloss, a Face Gloss, a Translucent Blotting Powder, and three cream sticks with one blush, one bronzer, and one highlighter. This Kendall By Kylie Cosmetics Collection also contains a Pressed Powder Palette and a Gloss, but new products are a Lip Crayon Set and a Blush & Highlight Cheek Quad.

The packaging of the first collection was very neutral, beige-toned, and centered around pictures of Kylie and Kendall. It was very sleek and simplistic, which I think was super classy, and I still love it to this day. This time around, the girls went for a stunning lilac vibe with flowers and pictures of them. It’s supposed to be perfect for spring, and I think the packaging resembles that perfectly. Let’s dive into the Kendall By Kylie Cosmetics Collection details!

Kendall By Kylie Cosmetics Products

The Kendall by Kylie Cosmetics Collection is a limited edition; however, it did not sell out (yet) by the time of writing this review. You can get the full bundle or just one or two single products. The products in this collection with their prices:

Clean Formulas

Just a reminder that Kylie Cosmetics is completely cruelty-free, vegan, clean, gluten-free, and paraben-free. They use formulas that are made in the USA and Europe, with globally sourced ingredients, try to choose naturally derived ingredients over synthetics in all formulations when possible, and they don´t use parabens or sulfates in any of their products.

Where To Buy

This Kendall by Kylie Cosmetics Collection is available on their own website kyliecosmetics.com. The website has a US version, a Europe version, and even a couple more countries, so make sure to select your country to use the right site and avoid customs charges. The collection isn’t completely available at other retailers, but Douglas NL has the palette still available.

Kendall By Kylie Cosmetics Review

I purchased the complete Kendall By Kylie Cosmetics Collection, so I got all the products for $125. I was able to use the European site, so I didn’t have custom charges, and I didn’t even have shipping costs. Moreover, it took only like one day for it to arrive. I ordered it at 12 AM on April 7th (the launch date was April 6th, 3 PM PST, but that’s 12 AM CET, and so it was officially April 7th in my country, lol), and it arrived on April 8th. that’s literally SO fast! I was shocked but very happy. Such a good service! I have been testing it since then, so I’m ready to share my thoughts with you.

Kendall Lip Gloss Ken Out Of Ken Review

I wouldn’t use this shade alone, as it’s kinda light and orangy on my lips. Not super flattering on its own, in my opinion. I think it looks prettier on top of a lip liner or lipstick. But if you want to wear it alone, it’s possible, and you can see some color payoff for sure.

The formula of this gloss is thick and sticky, the opposite of the High Glosses I love so dearly. It might not be a surprise when I tell you that I prefer the High Gloss formula over this one. Thick glosses aren’t my favorite; however, I have to say that even though this is a thick formula, I actually think it’s pretty comfortable lipgloss. The gloss is formulated with Peppermint Oil for a refreshing mint sensation which is definitely nice on the lips. Overall, I don’t think my lips look fuller, but it leaves a gorgeously glossy, shiny finish.

The Ken Out Of Ken Lipgloss (I think the name is funny and unique!) isn’t my favorite formula. I absolutely love the Kylie Cosmetics High Glosses, the Tower 28 Lip Jelly Glosses, and the Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Lipglosses over this one for reference. But I don’t think it’s a bad gloss. If you’re into a thicker gloss with a nice mint sensation on the lips, I think you’ll like this a lot!

Kendall Blush & Highlighter Cheek Quad Review

I said to myself, “no more face palettes,” yet here I am with another face palette, lol! I had to make an exception for this beautiful Kendall By Kylie Cosmetics blush & highlighter palette. The palette contains 2 powders and 2 creams, so one cream blush and one cream highlighter, and one powder blush and one powder highlighter.

This palette truly is super pretty, but only light to medium skin tones can wear this. Even for deeper medium skin tones, this will be too light. However, the highlighters are darker for fair to light skin tones. I have light skin, and I would say it shouldn’t have been a tad darker, or I wouldn’t be able to wear them.

However, the cream highlighter barely shows up on my cheeks which is disappointing. The powder highlighter is pretty, but you have to build it up for it to show up on the cheeks properly. So the highlighters aren’t my favorite. Honestly, I can see myself using the powder highlighter every now and then, but the cream, not so much. Texture-wise, both highlighters don’t accentuate my pores or texture.

Then the blush side, I’m way more positive about them! I really enjoyed the cream blush as well as the powder blush. I was a bit scared that the powder blush would look ashy on my cheeks or wouldn’t even be visible, but it’s actually quite pigmented and shows up pretty on light skin. Again, the powder blush is probably only wearable for fair to light skin, but medium skin could definitely pull off the cream blush too. The cream blush is a very pretty, in my opinion, spring-like product and leaves a gorgeous natural-looking flush of color on the cheeks. Very healthy and a tiny bit dewy. Both of the blushes blend easily, are buildable, and are nicely pigmented.

The Kendall By Kylie Cosmetics Blush & Highlighter Cheek Quad isn’t a bad product but isn’t the best either. The biggest con, in my opinion, is that this isn’t wearable for many skin tones, and even within the fair/light to medium skin tones range, it’ll depend if you can wear all shades in the palette. I do love the shade names, though, but that’s not really a good reason to buy a product, lol.

Kendall Lip Crayon Set Review

No joke, these Kendall By Kylie Cosmetics Lip Crayons are amazing! I’m normally not really a lip crayon girl, but I loved these the moment I applied them on my arm for the first time and wasn’t disappointed when I used them on the lips! They’re very creamy and easy to apply, very pigmented, they look matte but aren’t drying on the lips, and I even noticed it blurred my lip lines.

The formula is long-wearing, lightweight, soft, and comfortable while looking absolutely stunning on the lips. They’re not completely smudge-proof if I kiss the back of my hand, but you can drink with them on without them coming off immediately. It survived several drinks and even a meal when I wore it, but it slowly faded. That’s another thing I like about them, they slowly fade away, so you get some sort of an ombre effect, and it’s not a harsh line or something.

Out of the whole collection, the Kendall By Kylie Cosmetics Lip Crayon Set is my favorite. I think these a really worth the money! If you’re like me and love a matte but comfortable, long-wearing lip, I’m sure you’ll really like these. The blurring effect is heavenly and something I barely have with other lip products.

Kendall Pressed Powder Palette

The Kendall By Kylie Cosmetics Pressed Powder Palette is an 18-pan all matte eyeshadow palette and contains warm and cool tones as well as mainly neutral shades with a couple of pops of colors. I just found out that Ky & Kenny (deep purple matte), The Kendall To My Kylie (peachy coral matte), Super Famous Clips (vibrant pink matte), and Scorpio Szn (terracotta rose matte) shouldn’t be used on eye area which I think is weird because… it’s an eyeshadow palette, isn’t it? I’m confused, but oh well, here’s the disclaimer to don’t use these four shades on the eyes.

Anyway, I like that this is an all-matte eyeshadow palette, but I do miss some metallics. This is obviously a personal preference because I think I’m truly a metallic kinda girl now. However, if I want a quick, basic look, I tend to go for an all-matte look. And if I want to add a little metallic or glittery shade, I have enough palettes I can use for a metallic shade, so that’s no problem.

The formula is really pigmented but powdery. I often see this with very pigmented palettes; most of the time, a lot of pigment makes them more powdery. However, I only noticed some kickback in the pan and no fallout on the face, so I’m not bothered by the powderiness at all. As long as the shades are pigmented, and it doesn’t end up all over my face, I don’t mind kickback in the pan/powderiness.

Most colors are easy to work with, blendable, and buildable. I noticed a little bit of patchiness with some of the darker shades, which required a bit more work on the blending part. I wouldn’t say that this is a beginner-friendly palette due to this; however, you don’t have to be an expert either. Know how to blend? This palette is great!

Do I think the Kendall By Kylie Cosmetics Pressed Powder Palette is completely unique compared to the palettes I already own? No, I don’t think so. It’s an everyday, basic matte palette with neutrals and some pops of color (which you’re not allowed to use on the eyes? ok, lol), which overall works pretty well and is nice. I’m definitely getting my use out of this palette, but I’m sure the all-matte Colourpop palette makes a great and more affordable dupe.

Final Verdict

If I had to recommend just one product, I would recommend the Lip Crayon Set. Out of the whole collection, this is definitely my favorite product. I feel this Kendall By Kylie Cosmetics Collection is cute; I love the packaging and the lovely color scheme, but the products’ formulas aren’t amazing or viral-worthy. Just basic, very nice products that if you were to buy them, you would be content, but if you have a big collection like me, it’s not really worth getting it all because I have something similar in my collection already and you may have too.
