Kylie Cosmetics recently launched a bunch of brow products and I bought every single product to try out! I’m going to let you see all the products, give my thoughts and show you how my brows looked after using the products. Let’s see how the Kylie Cosmetics Kybrow Products perform!
Recently, in my blog post, a Kylie Cosmetics Makeup Haul, I told you that I was going to try the products multiple times before giving you guys my thoughts. In the meantime, I’ve been using the products for over a week now and I know exactly what to say about the Kylie Cosmetics Kybrow Products.
Kybrow Products & Prices
The products I’ve bought:
- Kybrow Medium Brown Set including a brow pencil, brush, pomade, and clear brow gel $45
- Brow powder in Medium Brown $16
- Kybrow Highlight in Light Shimmer $12
- Kybrow Highlight in Light Matte $12
(To see the other products I bought, click here)
The Kybrow products in the Medium Brown Set are also sold separately. You don’t have to buy the full set if you don’t want to. Here are single product prices:
- Brow pencils retail for $14
- Brush retails for $10
- Brow pomade retails for $16
- Brow gel retails for $16
Kybrow Medium Brown Set
This is how the inside of the set looks like. The set is available in 6 different shades, for all different eyebrow colors. I bought the Medium Brown Set because I’m pretty much always wearing Medium Brown shades. My hair is dark brown so Medium Brown suits my hair color the best.
Powder in Medium Brown
I had to get the Kybrow Powder and Highlight sticks separately. There isn’t a set which includes every brow product, including the powder and the highlight sticks. Not a big deal though.
Highlight in Light Shimmer and Light Matte
The Kybrow pencil
First of all, my expectations were really high. Since I’ve been using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz pencil, I haven’t found another brand that is just as good. So let’s start off with the Kybrow pencil, is it good? Let me tell you, I love it! This is the first pencil that is just as good as my ABH Brow Wiz. With other pencils, I felt immediately that it wasn’t something I like. However, Kylie’s pencil felt good. I love using it and it’s the perfect color!
To continue, I was very excited to see if this would be my color and type of product. I’ve tried the Morphe pomade and it was way too dark and I just couldn’t work with it. But that’s not the case with the Kybrow pomade at all! It worked very pleasantly and I had no problems with creating a flawless brow. And thankfully, it’s the right color!
The Kybrow Powder
This product disappointed me a little bit. The lightest color from the 2 was way too warm for me, so that’s a shame. However, the other powder shade is a way better match and I like using it to fill in my brows a bit more.
To finish my brow, I used the Kybrow Gel. I have some wild brow hairs and not many gels can contain them… However, this gel makes them stay in place forever. Moreover, it doesn’t look like you wear gel at all. I have no problem applying it.
The Light Matte shade works perfectly to clear any mistakes around the brow and it makes the brow look even more perfect. However, I’m not a huge fan of the Light Shimmer. It’s a little bit chalky and it didn’t even give me a subtle glow. I didn’t give me any glow lol. If I have to recommend you something, get the matte shades and not the shimmer shades.
I’ve put on some eye makeup quickly so please don’t judge me lol. But look at that brow! I’m in love with the look of it. I don’t think I’ve ever made a better brow than this one.
Please let me know your thoughts!
Hope to see you next time loves,
