Kylie Cosmetics is my favorite brand for sure. I’ve ordered my first product one and a half year ago and I was in love immediately. Since then, I’m frequently buying their products and I’ve built a pretty bomb collection. I love Kylie’s matte liquid lipsticks, but when I discovered the velvet formula I was shocked. I had to buy the Kylie Cosmetics Low Key, Boy Bye & Savage Velvets.
The colors I’ve ordered are the Kylie Cosmetics Low key, Boy Bye and Savage Velvets. The packaging is simple, it’s black and has ‘Kylie’ on it which you can’t see in the picture. At the top, you’ll see a sneak peek of the color and the name of the velvet lipstick.
- Low Key is a warm pinky coral
- Boy Bye is a pinky mauve
- Savage is a warm apricot nude
This is what stated on the Kylie Cosmetics website:
The Velvet Liquid Lipstick has high intensity pigment for a full coverage lip. This long wearing, ultra pigmented liquid lipstick contains moisturizing ingredients that glide on for a creamy matte look that does not dry down.
1 Velvet lipstick retails for $16 and contains 0.11 oz / 3.00 g.
I never thought I would love a formula more than Kylie’s matte liquid lipstick but I think this Velvet formula is even better. Yes, her matte liquid lipsticks are the best out there but this Velvet formula is so nice! When you’re having dry lips or when you don’t like wearing a matte liquid lipstick, this formula is definitely one for you. It’s very creamy, very soft, smells amazing and is still very pigmented. It actually feels like a normal bullet lipstick but has that matte look. However, this won’t dry out your lips at all! It’s so comfortable to wear.
You might question the longevity of these lipsticks but I promise you, they stay on for so long! They’re definitely long wearing even though they’re creamy.
These shades are so pretty! As you can see, they don’t dry down but still, look pretty matte. However, they still feel very comfortable and creamy. I think all 3 shades are very wearable. My favorite one is Savage! I love a good go-to nude shade.
In the meantime, I own a lot of Velvets. Some singles and some Lip Kits. That’s why I can say you need these in your collection if you haven’t already.
Where to buy?
Hope to see you next time loves,
