The Kylie Cosmetics Kris Collection is a fact! After doing several collaborations with sisters Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, and Kourtney Kardashian it was time for mom Kris Jenner to take over the place. Kylie decided to ask her mom to do a Mother’s Day Collection and knowing Kris, this obviously had to be all about her, as she deserves.

Kris announced her collection by “hacking” the Kylie Cosmetics social media pages and called it Kris Cosmetics for a while. I couldn’t think of a marketing campaign to be more fitting, I love it! Over the top and hilarious, just like Kris. Say whatever you want but Kris truly is iconic and a smart businesswoman! She manages all of her kids, helps to run their businesses, and is always making sure the family is her priority. Not to forget, while always looking flawless and put together.

Even though it might be an unpopular opinion, I’m a Kardashian fan and just love the whole family. I have been watching Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and love rewatching it all too. It doesn’t come as a surprise that I was super excited to see this full collection with Momager Kris!
On top of that, this collection will always have a special place in my heart because I decided to let it ship to the hotel I stayed at in NYC so every time I see this collection, I think back to NYC. I’m homesick now…

The Kris Collection contains a couple of products, such as:

  • Momager Lip Kollection (including 6 mini lipsticks): $42
  • Pressed Powder Face Palette (including 2 highlighters and 2 blushes): $48
  • Pressed Powder Eyeshadow Palette (a 12-pan neutral-to-cool-toned palette): $42
  • Give Me A Kiss Bullet Lipstick with a matching Lip Liner: $17 and $12

The Kris Collection Bundle retails for $150.

The packaging is AMAZING! If you know Kris, you know she’s obsessed with black and white so the packaging truly fits her and what she loves. I also think it’s iconic that they’ve put her face on the eyeshadow packaging and on the outer packaging of the face palette (I wish they printed it on the actual face palette too though!). The face palette has her famous quote, and nowadays a well-known meme, ‘You’re doing amazing sweetie!!’ on it.

Kris Collection Pressed Powder Face Palette

Here’s the palette inside and outside. It has the names on the back but also in the palette. These names are so so so funny and everyone who has watched Keeping Up With The Kardashians definitely recognizes these quotes. Top left shade is called ‘It’s Snowing Pussy Willows’ and the top right shade is called ‘Money Doesn’t Grow On Trees.’

Both these shades are highlighters and super pretty colors. The bottom left shade is called ‘Your Sisters Going To Jail’ (this one is my favorite name lol!) and the bottom right shade is called ‘I Raised You On Mac n Cheese.’ These shades are blushes, the left one is matte and the right one has a little sparkle in there.

Swatch pictures shades names from top to bottom: “It’s Snowing Pussy Willows'” “Money Doesn’t Grow On Trees”, “Your Sisters Going To Jail,” and “I Raised You On Mac n Cheese”. ‘It’s Snowing Pussy Willows’ is soft pink champagne. ‘Money Doesn’t Grow on Trees’ is a soft warm peach. ‘Your Sister’s Going to Jail’ is a soft nectarine. ‘I Raised You On Mac N’ Cheese’ is a bright peach.

I love this palette! The highlighters are super pigmented and really smooth. It’s not the same formula as the Wet Set, but I feel like the pigment is the same. It really gives a super pretty glow. The blush shade ‘Money Doesn’t Grow on Trees’ is buildable. When I first applied it, it was pretty sheer but you can build this up to a more pigmented blush.

I don’t mind that, because very pigmented blushes make me look like a clown and I like to build my blush to the color payoff I like. The blush shade ‘I Raised You On Mac N’ Cheese’ is fantastic. It’s definitely not too glittery on the cheeks and just gives a healthy glow, so pretty! I like to mix both blush shades.

Kris Collection Give Me A Kiss Lipstick + Lip Liner

Next up is the ‘Give Me A Kiss’ lipstick and lip liner. They’re both the same color and I love how they match. The packaging is, again, so funny! I love the middle fingers on the actual lipstick tube and ‘Kris Jenner’ on the lip liner.

It’s a créme lipstick and that’s why you can spot a little shine. I like that because it’s super moisturizing, creamy, and feels good on the lips. Not drying at all and is super pigmented. Both the colors are warm rustic roses, very pretty.

Kris Collection Pressed Eyeshadow Palette

A cool-toned eyeshadow palette with 12 colors in it, I’m here for this. The packaging is sleek black with of course Kris’s face on it and the shade names on the back. Again, I love the shade names!

The palette doesn’t include a mirror which is a little disappointing but on the other side, I like the quote ‘I have one word for tonight… vodka’ which matches the collection pretty well so that makes up for the mirror a little bit. The color scheme is stunning! The palette has some matte shades, some metallics, and satin shades as well. It’s possible to make a lot of looks with this palette!

This is the first row of the palette top to bottom: I Love Myself, Gorgeous, It’s An Emergency and Very Nice. The shadows performed really well and I love the shades! It’s An Emergency looks more grey on my arm than in the palette but I still think it’s a lovely shade.

This is the second row of the palette top to bottom: Haters, Vodka Tonic, Paybacks A Bitch, Impressed. This is my favorite row! I’m in love with these colors and again they perform really well and I like how pigmented they are. They apply smoothly.

The third and last row of the palette top to bottom: 10%, I’m Watching You, Talent, Does It Come In Black. I had a little bit more trouble with swatching this row. I applied the top 2 shades twice and the black color didn’t really go well at all. It looks a little patchy on the skin and is my least favorite palette shadow. The top two shades a really pretty to make a smokey eye and I don’t really mind I had to go in twice to get this pigment. The third shade performed just like the first and second row.

Kris Collection Momager Lip Kollection

Last but definitely not least, the Momager Lip Kollection. This set contains 8 mini lipsticks with 1 matte shade, 4 velvets, and 3 glosses. I like the variety!   I love the packaging as well, so sleek. You can see the color peek through the logo ‘Kris Jenner’ which is nice. From left to right: That’s Wild (true red), Boss (soft cherry), Middle Finger (tangerine red), Overwhelmed (deepened cool rosewood), Too Blessed (warm pink rose), This is Everything (soft warm peach), Driving Me Crazy (creamy pink), Really??? (creamy beige nude).

I don’t often wear red lipsticks but I wanted to try them out and that’s super nice about minis because I didn’t have to buy a full-size version to try them out. Boss (the second shade) is a matte one and I love this true red! The top one, the third shade, the 4th shade, and the 5th shade are velvets which is my favorite Kylie formula! The colors are really pretty.

The bright orange color is out of my comfort zone, but I enjoy playing around with it! The bottom three shades are glosses and I love them so much! I think these glosses are my favorite of all the 8 shades. The look stunning and are super pigmented and not sticky at all. I love Kylie’s glosses and I really hope she makes these glosses into full-size versions!

Final Thoughts

I really like this collection! The packaging is so awesome and I love using these products. I like the cool-toned eyeshadow palette, even though I’m not gonna use the black shade. The Lipset and lipstick pigment are amazing, and I would recommend these.  The Face palette is my favorite and I love using it every day, it’s really worth the money.

Even though the Kris Collection was a limited edition and Kylie Cosmetics rebranded completely, the Give Me A Kiss Lip Liner is added to the permanent line. The mini liquid lipstick in Boss is now permanently available in a Matte Lip Kit.

  1. I’m behind the times, lol. I recently ordered the KKW Beauty + Mario eyeshadow palette and will be reviewing it in August. I would order the KRIS collection if I didn’t spend so much money on make up already this month.
What a great review, you put a lot of effort into it and I enjoyed reading it.
