I was very excited to hear that Kylie Jenner was going to launch her own skincare line Kylie Skin. However, the world thought different. I’ve heard so much negativity about her products that at first, I didn’t even want to try them. After a lot of doubt, I decided to just try them and see for myself. In today’s blog post, I’m going to share my thoughts on the Kylie Skin products after 2 weeks of using them.
When the products arrived, I asked my Twitter followers (if you don’t follow me yet, you can do so over here) if they would like to see just one review after 4 weeks of using the products or 2 separate reviews, one after 2 weeks and one after 4 weeks. They’ve decided it’s going to be 2 reviews. Today’s the first one after using the products for 2 weeks straight.
Kylie Skin Products
As you can tell, I’ve bought the whole set so I could try out all the products. I’ve bought this set for $125 to get 6 full-size products. The products in this set are the following:
- Foaming Face Wash which contains 5 fl oz / 149 ml
- Walnut Face Scrub which contains 3 oz / 8.5 g
- Vanilla Milk Toner which contains 8 fl oz / 236 ml
- Vitamin C Serum which contains 0.7 fl oz / 20 ml
- Face Moisturizer which contains 1.75 fl oz / 52 ml
- Eye Cream which contains .57 fl oz / 17 ml
The products are available separately as well. Moreover, there are face wipes and a travel bag available as well. I’ll be walking through all the products, sharing prices, swatches, ingredients, how it felt on my skin and most importantly how I like it after 2 weeks of using the products.
Foaming Face Wash
The first product to use is the Face Wash. It’s super foamy and you don’t need much to wash your whole face. I think this is my favorite product this far! I love how foamy it is and it makes my skin so soft. Sometimes when using a face wash, it can dry out my skin but this one doesn’t. It’s different than all the face washes I tried before and so I think it’s worth the money. Moreover, it has a soft scent to it which I think is very nice and not overwhelming.

Walnut Face Scrub
This product did get the most hate on the internet since it’s a Walnut Scrub and people where saying it’s bad for the skin. I was pretty scared to try this so I started with a little bit and once a week. I think this is a very gentle scrub and I actually like it! My face scrubs have been a lot less gentle than this one, so I think it’s a nice scrub. I even used the scrub 2 times a week and it gave no irritation at all. I’m not really sure if this has a smell to it if so it’s very neutral and not intense at all.

Vanilla Milk Toner
I really like the smell of this toner and I do like the formula. However, I don’t really like this toner. I have combination skin and my cheeks and eyes are pretty sensitive. After using the toner on my cheeks, it felt kinda irritating and drying. Therefore, if you’re someone with sensitive skin, I won’t recommend this toner. After trying the toner only on my oily spots (my t-zone) I started to like this toner a bit more, but I have to admit that after using this 4 times, I skipped it. Eventually, I think this toner could work for people with oily skin.

Vitamin C Serum
This serum actually feels so nice and hydrating! My skin is so glowy, soft and hydrated after using the Vitamin C Serum. It doesn’t really have a smell and it applies very easily. I think this is a nice addition to my skincare routine!

Water/aqua/eau, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, Glycerin, Phenoxyethanol, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Dipalmitoyl Hydroxyproline, Tocopheryl Acetate, Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate, Carbomer, Polysorbate 20, Sodium Metabisulfite, Panthenol, Ferulic Acid, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Hydroxide, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract
The moisturizer doesn’t really have a smell either. I like it, it’s hydrating and very creamy. It’s a little bit thicker than I normally would use but there’s nothing wrong with it at all. However, I do think it’s not something special either. It’s just a normal, nothing special but good moisturizer.

This Eye Cream is a must. I love this equally as much as I love the Face Wash BUT what I like so much about this cream is that it started to reduce my dark circles after 2 times of using it already. I’ve tried the product in a period with so much stress and less sleep, but it still made me look like I felt good. My dark circles are truly a lot less visible. This also doesn’t have a smell, is very creamy and easy to apply with the applicator. My eyes are very sensitive and products easily irritate the skin around them, but this Eye Cream makes them hydrated and not irritated at all. I love it!

After 2 weeks of using the products, overall I really like them. Are these products super special? I don’t think so. However, the Face Wash and Eye Cream are definitely worth your money. I do like the Vitamin C Serum and Walnut Scrub too and for now, I think I would repurchase them. I don’t think I’m going to repurchase the Moisturizer and Vanilla Toner. The moisturizer is not bad at all, but since it’s not special either I don’t think it’s necessary. The toner is just a tab bit too drying for my skin.
It’s definitely not a bad first launch and I do think a lot of people are going to enjoy these products a lot, just like me!
I’ll be doing a final review in 2 weeks to see if my thoughts are still the same, if my favorite products changed and I’ll be showing the results on my skin!
Hope to see you next time loves,
