I was very excited to hear that Kylie Jenner was going to launch her own skincare line called Kylie Skin. However, the world thought differently. I’ve heard so much negativity about her products that at first, I didn’t even want to try them. After a lot of doubt, I decided to just give them a go and see for myself. In today’s blog post, I’m going to share my thoughts on the Kylie Skin products after 4 weeks of using them.

Kylie Skin Products

The first Kylie Skin launch included 6 products and as you can tell, I’ve bought the whole set so I could try them all out. I’ve bought this set for $125 to get 6 full-size products. The products in this set are the following:

The products are sold at the Kylie Skin website, Ulta and Nordstrom and are available separately as well as in a bundle. Moreover, Kylie Skin is available in Europe as well and retails at Douglas, Kylie Skin UK, Kylie Skin France, and Kylie Skin Germany. For the Aussie is a Kylie Skin AUS website version.

Foaming Face Wash

Kylie Skin Face Wash | Review

The first product to use is the Kylie Skin Foaming Face Wash. It’s super foamy and you don’t need much to wash your whole face. I love how foamy it is and it makes my skin so soft. Sometimes when using a face wash, it can dry out my skin but this one doesn’t. It’s different than all the face washes I tried before and so I think it’s worth the money. Moreover, it has a soft scent to it which I think is very nice and not overwhelming. After 4 weeks of using, I can say I will be repurchasing this face wash since I absolutely love it!

Key Features

  • Glycerin: a powerful humectant helping maintain skin’s moisture
  • Coconut-based Surfactants: a mild alternative to traditional sulfates creating a dense and creamy lather while being extra gentle to the skin
  • Vegan
  • Lightly Fragranced
  • Dermatologist-Tested

Walnut Face Scrub

Kylie Skin Walnut Scrub | Review

I was pretty scared to try this Kylie Skin Walnut Face Scrub after people were bashing the product so much online so I started with a little bit and just once a week. However, it surprised me! It’s actually a pretty gentle scrub and I actually like it! I even used the scrub 2 times a week and it gave no irritation at all. I’m not really sure if this has a smell to it if so it’s very neutral and not intense at all. After 4 weeks of using this face scrub, I don’t think it’s bad for my skin and I think it’s truly gentle and very nice to scrub your face with. I would repurchase this too.

Key Features

  • Exfoliating fine Walnut Powder and a botanical blend of Fruit Extracts: helping a gently smooth ski
  • Squalane & Sodium Hyaluronate: moisturizing agents helping reinforce skin’s moisture
  • Vegan
  • No Fragrance Added
  • Dermatologist-Tested

Vanilla Milk Toner

I really like the smell of this Kylie Skin Vanilla Milk Toner and I do like the feel of formula on my face. However, I personally don’t think this toner works for me. I have combination skin so my cheeks and eyes are dry and sensitive. After using the toner on my cheeks, it felt irritating and drying. Therefore, if you’re someone with dry and/or sensitive skin, I won’t recommend this toner.

After trying the toner only on my t-zone I started to like this toner more, but I have to admit that I’m not using it daily. Eventually, I think this toner could work for people with oily skin. After 4 weeks of using it, I started to like the toner more but I won’t be repurchasing this.

Key Features

  • Squalane & Sodium Hyaluronate: moisturizing agents helping maintain skin’s moisture
  • Apple Fruit Extract: a botanical extract helping improve the look of skin
  • Avocado Oil: an emollient helping condition and soften skin
  • Vegan
  • Alcohol- Free
  • Lightly Fragranced

Vitamin C Serum

This Kylie Skin Vitamin C Serum actually feels so nice and hydrating! My skin is so glowy, soft, and hydrated after using the serum. It doesn’t really have a smell and it applies very easily. I think this is a nice addition to my skincare routine and I don’t have anything bad to say about this! After 4 weeks of using the serum, I’m pretty sure I’m repurchasing this. It makes my skin so hydrated and glowing, I love it!

Key Features

  • A potent form of Vitamin C (Tetrahexydecyl Ascorbate): helps brighten and improve the appearance of dull skin
  • Glycerin & Safflower Seed Oil: powerful moisturizing agents helping maintain skin’s moisture.
  • Vegan
  • No Fragrance Added
  • Dermatologist-Tested

Face Moisturizer

The Kylie Skin Face Moisturizer doesn’t really have a smell either. I like it, it’s hydrating and very creamy. It’s a little bit thicker than I normally would use but there’s nothing wrong with it at all. However, I do think it’s not something special either. It’s just a normal, nothing special but good moisturizer. But I hate the pump… I can’t get any product out of it. After 4 weeks of using it, I don’t think I’m going to repurchase the moisturizer.

Key FEatures

  • Shea Butter: a great moisturizer naturally containing fatty acids helping smooth skin
  • Sodium Hyaluronate: a derivative of Hyaluronic Acid helping skin look plumper
  • Banana Leaf, Oat Bran Extract, and Orange Peel Extracts: a caring blend of botanical extracts
  • Glycerin: a powerful humectant helping maintain skin’s moisture
  • Vegan
  • No Fragrance Added
  • Dermatologist-Tested

Eye Cream

This Kylie Skin Eye Cream is a must. I love this equally as much as I love the Face Wash BUT what I like so much about this cream is that it started to reduce my dark circles after 2 times of using it already. I’ve tried the product in a period with so much stress and less sleep, but it still made me look good. My dark circles are truly a lot less visible. This also doesn’t have a smell, is very creamy, and easy to apply with the applicator.

My eyes are very sensitive and products easily irritate the skin around them, but this Eye Cream doesn’t irritate at all. After 4 weeks of using it, it makes my dark circles disappear and I’m definitely going to repurchase this.

Key Features

  • Caffeine, Green Tea, and Pomegranate Extracts: a blend of extracts dedicated to perfect your eye area
  • A potent form of Vitamin C (Ethyl Ascorbic acid & Tetrahexydecyl ascorbate): an antioxidant and brightening extract
  • Shea Butter: a great moisturizer that naturally contains fatty acids helping smooth your skin
  • Jojoba Seed Oil: a caring oil helping hydrate and soften your skin
  • Vegan
  • No Fragrance Added
  • Dermatologist-Tested

Final Thoughts

After 4 weeks of using the products, overall I like them. Are these products super special? I don’t think so. However, the Face Wash, Walnut Scrub, Eye Cream, and Vitamin C Serum would be worth your money. I’m definitely going to repurchase the Face Wash and the Eye Cream.

I’m not going to repurchase the Moisturizer and Vanilla Milk Toner. The moisturizer is not bad at all, but since it’s not special either I don’t think it’s necessary and I have other products I love more. Even though, I ended up liking the toner a bit more I still don’t think I need another one.

It’s definitely not a bad first launch but it’s not spectacular either. I can’t wait to see more products from Kylie Skin in the future! I wrote a review on the Kylie Skin Coconut Body Lotion and Scrub if you fancy a read.

  1. I was wondering about this! So funny USA obsessed and Dutch! I am from the US and living in Amsterdam!!! 😀 Was it expensive shipping or tax wise to get these here? 🙂

    1. Omg really?! That’s so funny! How do you like it in Amsterdam? 🙂
In the end, it is pretty expensive though. I think I paid $14.95 for shipping and I had to pay taxes/a custom charge of around 40 euros.
