Lorac Cosmetics has been a brand that’s on my radar for a while now but as an international beauty lover, it was also a brand that I couldn’t get easier. However, my Lorac wishlist became bigger and bigger. Especially their eyeshadow palettes caught my attention and people were always raving about them too. The moment I saw the Lorac Cosmetics Lux Diamond palette, I was pretty much in love. The palette seems to have all the colors I love for an eyeshadow look. So I bought it and tested it out. In today’s blog post, I’m sharing my thoughts on the Lorac Cosmetics Lux Diamond palette and I’m showing swatches. Curious? Then keep on reading.

I recently wrote a blog post about the products I bought during the Labor Day Sales. The Lux Diamond palette was in there too even though this palette wasn’t on sale at that time. The first time I saw this palette, was on Kelly’s Instagram page. The color scheme immediately got me interested and then I saw how much Kelly loved this palette. I trust her and her opinion so this had me 100%. Not much later I bought the palette and let it ship to my country.

Lorac Cosmetics Lux Diamond Palette Review And Swatches

Here she is! A beautiful palette including matte and metallics shades. This palette contains everything I need for an eyeshadow look. The lighter shades are perfect for highlighting the brow and tear duct. Then we have some pretty shades to put into the crease. We can pop some metallics on the eyelid and darken up the crease with the darker shades. You can even make a black liner with the black shadow. Everything in one place, perfect!

The palette also contains a couple of shades that contain 100% certified authentic diamonds milled into fine, cosmetic-grade dust and infused into a luxurious eye shadow formula.

What Lorac says: LORAC’s finely milled shadows offer a creamy, no-tug application, impactful one-swipe pay off, and superior blendability. Chamomile and Cornflower Extracts nurture and soothe the lids, while Cucumber Extract provides hydration.

The palette retails for $39 and is available at Lorac’s own website or at Ulta.

Lorac Cosmetics Lux Diamond Swatches

Every shade in this palette swatched really easily and pigmented. The shadows also perform very well on the eyes. Some shades, mostly mattes, are a bit powdery but I don’t really mind since the pigment is amazing. The amount of looks you can create with this palette is incredible and I’m just in love with how good it looks.

This is an eye look I created with this palette. As you can tell, it’s pigmented and blendable. I love the way this look turned out and it almost felt like the shadows blended themselves. Because of this palette, I’m really curious to try more products from Lorac. In the meantime, I tried even more Lorac products. See here my review on the Lorac Unzipped & Unzipped Gold palettes

  1. The look of this eyeshadow palette reminds me of Violet Voss’ palette due to the pan shapes and sizes. This eyeshadow palette looks stunning! The shades are wearable and can be used easily for daytime and evening. I love the look you created with it too and it really suits you. God damn it, here’s another one on my wish list…

  2. I love how your look came out – this palette is gorgeous. The new holiday collection looks super tempting but I’m going to resist

  3. I have several lorac palettes and first experienced lorac when i got a holiday set in 2012 called their sweet temptations set (before and until 2015 or so, i really only shopped MAC, those shades were like butter and blended themselves out so easy, almost to a fault… I found their formula has changed as to be expected in the years between then and since i got a few of their pro palettes.. My biggest Lorac fail IMHO is the Unzipped Unfiltered (that pretty pink? which is basically why i got the palette, does not have any pigment and doesn’t show up on my eyes at all).. with this luxe diamond palette being one of their recent best, yet completely under-rated products!!!

    1. I haven’t tried the Unzipped Unfiltered palette yet, it was on my wishlist but I think I can scrap it off my list. Hmmm, I really thought the Lorac palettes had all a very consistent formula… At least I’m really loving this palette and just got my Unzipped and Unzipped Gold palettes (review is coming soon but a little sneak peek lol) and I really like their formulas as well! This Lux Diamond palette is definitely underrated!
