Makeup By Mario Ultra Suede Lipstick Swatches
The Makeup By Mario Ultra Suede Lipsticks are truly quite a unique formula, one that you can play with and make your own. Tap it on the lips for a more blurred, kiss-of-color finish. Swipe on for medium coverage, and a weightless finish. Or layer it on for a full pigment matte color.
The formula is amazing, they look matte on the lips, but they don’t feel dry. They feel very velvety and smooth! However, if you expect/prefer a hydrating and nourishing formula, the Ultra Suede lipsticks might not be something you will like. It’s genuinely a matte lipstick, but like I said, it doesn’t dry out the lips and is still very comfortable.
What I also really like about this lipstick is its blurring properties. It kind of makes my natural lip lines disappear and makes them look very soft and smooth. On top of that, the formula is very long-lasting – I would say a good 4-5 hours – and the shade range is fabulous.
The Makeup By Mario Ultra Suede Lipsticks’ ultra-comfortable, non-drying formula features duo seed oil, which moisturizes and softens lips for a super-sensorial, addictive glide. Blur-filter technology in the form of smoothing gels offers smooth-matte, soft-focus coverage in a single stroke.
Makeup By Mario Lipstick Alternatives
- Huda Beauty Power Bullet Matte Lipsticks: the Huda Matte Lipsticks are a little bit more lightweight compared to the Mario Lipsticks but both formulas are comfortable and quite similar in longevity.
- MAC Powder Kiss Lipsticks: the MAC Powder Kiss formula is maybe the closest dupe I could think of formula-wise. They’re very similar, comfortable, pigmented and lots of stunning shades to choose from.
