I mean, we know that I’m a huge Hailey Bieber fan, but it seems like the internet is finally picking her beauty knowledge seriously now too. The moment she used this Make Up For Ever Anywhere Caffeine Lip Liner in one of her TikTok videos, I had to get it, and I was able to snatch it right before the internet picked up on Hailey using this lip liner, as it is now sold out most of the time.

I understand why Hailey likes this lipliner so much, as it is a perfect nude-looking one. But there’s more to it that I like, and I will share that in this post!

Here’s one of the first videos where Hailey was using the lip liner in a Get Ready With Me:

Make Up For Ever Anywhere Caffeine Lip Liner Swatches

When the Make Up For Ever Anywhere Caffeine Lip Liner is swatched, it looks brown and warm, but when I put it on my lips, it’s more of a brownish pink (see pictures of me wearing it below), and I absolutely love how this looks. It’s very close to my lip color, and it looks very natural, “my lips but better” vibes.

Especially if you were this lip liner with a gloss, it looks so gorgeously neutral but plumps the look of my lips as well. A gloss and this lip liner are now my go-to lip combination. However, this lip liner also looks amazing with normal lipstick, liquid lipstick, lip stain, or anything else on top. It even looks good by itself, for a little more “umpf” to your lips.

Usually, I’m not a fan of a normal wood-packaged lip pencil (I’m more of a creamy plastic lip liner girl), but I make an exception for Anywhere Caffeine or the Make Up For Ever Lip Liners in general. The reason why I don’t like normal lip pencils is because they often feel a little dry on the lips. A plastic lip liner is often more creamy, which feels more comfortable to me.

Thankfully, I don’t find the Anywhere Caffeine Lip Liner drying at all. The formula itself is creamy and applies easily. It glides on but is also easy to correct if you make a minor mistake. On top of that, if you want to blend it more into the lips, you can easily do this with your finger or a small brush.

The lip liner is long-wearing, but if I wear it with a gloss, it fades a little easier. It stays on for a solid 3-4 hours, though (with the gloss combination, it’s more around 2.5-3 hours, which is still not bad!).

I usually overline my lips just a tiny bit with this lip liner, as it is close enough to my natural lip color. I can tell that this overdrawn part stays on for almost 6-7 hours without it looking weird or obvious that I overlined my lips. That’s awesome!

Hailey, thanks for helping me find my new favorite nude lipliner!

Alternatives

  • Jouer Long-Wear Crème Lip Liner: I just recently discovered these Jouer lip liners, but I’m so glad I did because these are one of the most long-wearing lipliners I’ve tried. Very creamy and comfortable, and the shade “Nude” is a pretty close dupe for Anywhere Caffeine Lip Liner.
  • Huda Beauty Lip Contour 2.0 Automatic Matte Lip Pencil: One that is very long-wearing, creamy, and comfortable is the Lip Contour 2.0 from Huda Beauty. I love these a lot too, and they’re available in many beautiful shades!
  • Kylie Cosmetics Lip Liner: I’m pretty sure that the first time I tried a lip liner was because of my Lip Kit purchase, and since then, I have fallen in love with lip liners. The Kylie Lip Liners are still one of my favorite formulas, so they are worth checking out!
