10Expert Score
Milk Makeup Kush Mascara
The Milk Makeup Kush Mascara is one of my favorite mascaras ever! Even though it is pretty expensive, it does exactly what it is supposed to do. It makes my lashes look black, long, and volumized without being clumpy or flakey. It’s super long-wearing, and even at the end of the day, there’s no smudging involved. However, this mascara is still easy to remove with a cleansing balm. Really recommend!

Everyone has something about their appearance that they wish was different — for some, it’s their eyes or brows, for others, it might be their lips or cheekbones. But no matter what feature you want to draw attention to, there are steps you can take to do just that.

And one of the best ways is by using the right makeup products to accentuate what you love about your appearance and play down what you aren’t as fond of. Even though natural beauty is trending, that doesn’t mean women don’t want to go big with their lashes.

In fact, it just means there are more products than ever for achieving that subtle-yet-sultry look. And if you love a bit of drama with your mascara, then you need to meet Milk Makeup Kush Mascara.

To give you the longest, thickest, and most lashed-up lashes possible, this vegan formula contains natural oils like rosehip and camellia seed oil to hydrate and condition the lashes while combating breakage. The result? Intense volume and lifted lashes — even if they only last as long as your day lasts. Read on to learn more…

What Is Milk Makeup Kush Mascara

An award-winning vegan mascara for super thick, full, high-volume lashes from root to tip. Infused with conditioning hemp-derived cannabis seed oil for softer, healthier-looking lashes. Highlighted Ingredients:

  • Hollow Heart-Shaped Fibers: Create longer, fuller, thicker-looking lashes.
  • Hemp-Derived Cannabis Seed Oil: Conditions to keep lashes soft, not stiff.
  • Vegan “Beeswax”: Keeps fibers locked onto lashes, preventing fallout

How To Use

  • Wiggle the brush from the root of your lashes to the tip;
  • Use the tapered tip of the brush to reach and define the inner corner and bottom lashes;
  • Layer for more intensity if desired.

Review

As you can probably tell, my lashes aren’t really visible without any mascara on and can use some volume and lengthening. The Milk Mascara coats my lashes perfectly and easily from root to the tip, so my lashes are way more visible. On top of that, you can tell it adds volume and lengthening as well. And it does all of this, without smudging onto the lid which is something that can happen to me quickly (the Maybelline Sky High Mascara was a mess, for example).

When I first saw the wand, I was quite unsure if it would be the right size for me. I don’t have very big eyes so a big wand doesn’t always work well. However, I had literally zero problems using this wand. Yes, it is definitely on the bigger side but I could easily coat all my lashes and the smaller tip is super helpful to get those inner corner lashes.

It is supposed to be a volumizing and lengthening mascara, it doesn’t curl the lashes which I can tell. I normally like to start with a curling mascara (I don’t really use a lash curler) and go over it with a volumizing and lengthening mascara such as this Milk Mascara but for the sake of this review, I didn’t so you could see the real results. Anyway, I’m not mad at the results by the way! It’s not really curling the lashes but it gives enough volume to cover this up basically.

The formula is really nice, it’s not too dry or too wet when applying it to the eyes so you’ll get a nice and pigmented first coat without flaking or smudging. It dries down but the lashes aren’t stiff, they just feel natural but a little thicker. Once the mascara is on the lashes, it stays there all day. No flaking during/ at the end of a full day wearing, no panda eyes or less volume. It sits, it stays, and looks pretty all day long!

I also love how the mascara looks, no lash clumping at all while still having these quite dramatic lashes. Even using multiple coats doesn’t make them clump together. I hate spider lashes so this is a huge pro to me!

Now quite often, a great lasting mascara also means a hard-to-remove mascara but not with the Milk Kush Mascara! If you massage your lashes with a cleansing balm (such as the JUNOCO Clean 10 or The Inkey list Oat Cleansing Balm) it’ll be gone without any hard scrubbing involved.

Overall, I can’t name one bad thing about this Milk Makeup Kush Mascara formula. It does exactly what it promises and looks amazing in my opinion. I thought the wand would be my only con but no, not even the wand is ruining it for me. If I really had to name one thing, it would be the price as this is quite an expensive mascara.

Alternatives

  • Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara: Formula-wise, I think the Better Than Sex Mascara is quite similar to the Kush Mascara so that’s why it makes a great alternative. The Too Faced mascara curls my lashes, which the Milk Kush Mascara doesn’t and I think I prefer the hourglass shape wand of the Too Faced mascara a little bit more.
  • Maybelline Sky High Mascara: Even though this isn’t my personal favorite mascara, a lot of people swear by it so I had to mention it. I think the wand is amazing for people that have smaller eyes and think that the Kush Mascara wand is a bit too big. Even though I didn’t have any problems with my eyes and the big wand, I can imagine that some of you just really want something smaller.

Final Verdict

The Milk Makeup Kush Mascara is one of my favorite mascaras ever! Even though it is quite expensive, it does exactly what it is supposed to do. It makes my lashes look black, long, and volumized without being clumpy or flakey. It’s super long-wearing and even at the end of the day, there’s no smudging involved. However, this mascara is still easy to remove with a cleansing balm. Really recommend!
