I’ve been expanding my brush collection lately and I fell in love with Morphe Brushes. Their brushes are really my favorites. Morphe’s brushes are affordable but you still get really good quality. Morphe has been doing multiple collaborations with beauty influencers (such as Jaclyn Hill and James Charles) but the can add Jeffree Star to this list now as well. The collaborated together to make a brush set and a sponge set, all pink since that’s typical Jeffree Star. I couldn’t resist and I bought the brush set. Here’s my first impression on the Morphe Brushes x Jeffree Star Brush Set.

The brushes come in a very cute bag, it’s see-through pink with silver details. It has a cover over it with Jeffree’s eyes on it and of course a lot more pink! It’s possible to buy the brushes individually as well. However, it’s cheaper to get the whole brush set though. The brushes are very well protected when they arrive which I really appreciate.
Package wise I really love how this really screams ‘Jeffree Star’ due to all the pink. I love the ‘a little over the top’ vibes and it’s just a really cute idea. Moreover, the brushes themselves are not boring as well. The handles are very unique. In my opinion, it kinda looks like a huge pink diamond and I like it! I was afraid that it wouldn’t be nice when using the brushes but after feeling them I’m not worried anymore.
The brush set contains 7 different brushes for face and eyes. Here are the names and individual prices:
JS1 Size Queen Brush $16
JS2 Point-Blank Precision Brush $19
JS3 Iconic Contour Brush $8
JS4 Fly High Brush $10
JS5 Crease Kween Brush $8
JS6 Rule Blender Brush $8
JS7 Double Trouble Brush $5
The brush set contains 7 Custom Eye & Face Brushes + Brush Bag for $49.
I wasn’t able to get the sponges, otherwise, I would’ve loved to try them out as well. However, I do own the Highlight and Contour Sponge from Morphe and the Jeffree Star one is exactly the same but in pink instead of red. I really do love that sponge so I would recommend it if you’re looking for a new sponge. The sponge set also contains 2 little sponges which are in the same shape as the Highlight and Contour Sponge but as a mini version of it. The sponge trio is $16.
The brushes feel extremely soft, easy holdable and of course, look very unique. The brushes which you want to be a little bit denser (like the contour brush) are exactly how I like it and still feel very soft. Moreover, these brushes can be used for multiple purposes which I also very nice.
My first impression is pretty good and I’m very enthusiastic. I think Morphe and Jeffree did a very good job together!
I’ll be using these brushes a couple of weeks and I would love to tell you my final opinion. Please let me know in which way you would like to see me review them: a tutorial (doing my makeup and showing you how I use the brushes and if I like them) or just simply reviewing the brushes (just tell you if I like them or not). Give me your thoughts and opinions in the comments!
Thank you for reading & I hope to see you next time loves,
