NARS Blush In Deep Throat For Sexy Cheeks
- Stays on all day without fading

- Looks natural, non-powdery
- Not a glittery sheen, but a natural glowy

- On the expensive side
NARS Blush in Deep Throat was the first blush I wanted after trying NARS Orgasm and falling in love with the NARS Blush formula. However, it took me years to finally buy it as it sold out whenever I wanted to purchase it in-store.
I wasn’t the only one who wanted this blush, and even though it was frustrating that it was sold out every time, it was also a good sign, wasn’t it?

NARS Blush In Deep Throat Review
I love how some of the NARS Blushes have a very subtle shimmer/pearl in them, and how others are matte. Deep Throat is one of the shades that contains a golden shimmer.
I would say that NARS Deep Throat is very similar to NARS Orgasm, their most popular blush shade; however, Orgasm has more of a peachy/orangy undertone, whereas Deep Throat is more pinkish. I own & like both of the shades, but I don’t think you need both, as they look basically the same on the cheeks.
Pigmentation
What I like about this NARS Blush in Deep Throat โ or all NARS blushes, actually โ is that theyโre softly pigmented; enough pigment to see some color payoff, but you wonโt end up applying too much with one swipe. This makes them very foolproof, which is very lovely.
You can easily build up the pigment if you want more color payoff. Itโs also nice for people with light skin, like me, because we can wear the brighter shades too without looking like a clown immediately.ย
Formula
The NARS Blush formula is very smooth when you touch it with your finger, itโs easy to pick up pigment with your brush, and I donโt really notice any kickback in the pan.
Another thing that I really like about these is that it almost looks as if it has an instant blurring effect because my skin always looks flawless when I wear Deep Throat or any of the other blushes from NARS.
They just sit on the skin beautifully, almost as if it isnโt even there. Itโs not powdery looking at all, doesnโt accentuate any pores or impurities (it blurs them, in my opinion), and itโs so lightweight you donโt feel like you have anything on.
Longevity
On top of that, NARS Deep Throat Blush is long-wearing and didnโt fade on me even though I wore it all day.
Alternatives
- Pat McGrath Divine Blushes: They’re even more expensive than NARS, but the formula is fantastic and very similar to the NARS formula. It would make a great dupe for the NARS blushes when you compare the formulas, especially the ones with the shimmer. Still, as PMG blushes are even more expensive, I recommend staying with NARS – unless you want to splurge and spoil yourself!
- Makeup By Mario SoftSculpt Collection Powder Blushes: The SoftSculpt blushes make an excellent alternative for the matte NARS blushes. I really enjoy the Makeup By Mario Powder Blushes, and theyโre a bit more affordable than the NARS blushes.
- Charlotte Tilbury Cheek To Chic Powder Blushes: Luxury-wise, Charlotte Tilbury is always a good alternative! I really adore the Cheek To Chic Powder Blushes as theyโre very subtle, also have a bit of a sheen to them, and look very natural on the cheeks. I think that these are the closest dupe to the NARS blushes.
Final Verdict
I absolutely adore the NARS Blush In Deep Throat โ or all NARS blushes, actually โ and she did SUCH a good job. I think NARS Deep Throat will forever be one of my favorite blushes!
The formula is pigmented, but not too much. It applies like a dream, with a very flawless finish every time I use them. I literally canโt get enough of these NARS blushes.

How To Use
Apply the NARS Blush In Deep Throat to the cheeks with a brush.
Francois Nars says: “Cheek color shouldn’t be limited to the apples (no one blushes only on their cheeks!). I always blend a bit into the hairline, along the jawbone, and on the tip of the nose to create a more natural-looking, all-over hint of color.”
Things To Note
NARS is not considered a cruelty-free beauty brand; they test their products on animals themselves or through third parties.
