After 9 amazing days in NYC, I’m back home and ready to review new products for you! I really bought a lot of new makeup which I’ll be reviewing in the upcoming weeks so stay tuned! I ordered this highlighter when I was still in NYC and it arrived the day I was back home, so I’m starting off with this Ofra Cosmetics Pillow Talk highlighter.
As I already said in my introduction, I didn’t buy this beauty in NYC but just ordered it online. I’ve waited so long to finally order this highlighter because I thought it was quite a lot of money and so I kept waiting. Since it was on sale I just had to get it! The color is amazing for my light skin tone. It’s a soft pinkish color which you’ll see swatched in a minute. The Ofra packaging is super simple and almost looks a little bit cheap but at least it’s steady. It’s black with a see-through front with the logo printed on it. I like how it’s see-through though.
Here you can see the color a little bit better. I think it’s stunning! It has a soft pinkish color with pearls in it. You’re a 24/7 glow getter in our plush, pearl pigment highlighters that capture the light in all the right spots and illuminate all your fave features. This product contains a lot, 10 grams! I don’t think I’ll ever run out of this gorgeous highlighter haha.
Left picture is with natural light and the right picture is with a flashlight. Look how stunning?! It has a pearly soft pink finish and is super glowing. I think it looks perfect on the skin. When swatching it, the product felt really soft and a little bit buttery even though it’s not the most buttery highlighter I’ve ever owned. I don’t mind that to be honest because it’s still a powder highlighter. It’s not chunky or full of glitters, which is a good thing! It’s really a blinding highlighter which gives you an amazing glow.
As I said before, this product contains 10 gram and the price you’ll pay is $35 or 28 euros. Quite a lot of money but you’ll get a lot of product as well. If you’re from the USA, I know a lot of beauty Youtubers own a discount code for Ofra which you can use to make this product cheaper! If you’re from Europe you can order from www.ofracosmetics.com and use the Youtubers codes as well but mind that you might have a customs charge. I bought this highlighter at a Dutch site, called www.boozyshop.nl.
MICA, ZINC STEARATE, NYLON-12, ALUMINUM STARCH OCTENYLSUCCINATE, MAGNESIUM ALUMINUM SILICATE, SILICA, TRIMETHYLSILOXYSILICATE, DIMETHICONE, ETHYLENE/ ACRYLIC ACID COPOLYMER, PHENOXYETHANOL, TRIETHOXYCAPRYLYLSILANE, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN. MAY CONTAIN: CI 77891, CI 77492,CI 77491, TITANIUM DIOXIDE, IRON OXIDES.
I really like this highlighter and it was definitely worth the wait! I do think it looks most pretty on fair to light skin tones as a highlighter but it’s possible to use this highlighter as an eyeshadow on deeper skin tones. Let me know if you own this highlighter and what you think of it!
As I said before, keep an eye out for my blog because they’re a lot of really nice reviews coming your way!
Hope to see you next time loves,
