Outstanding Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Cream Review

I found out about Sol de Janeiro a while ago, I think it’s been around 1.5 years now and I have been using their products for over a year. Even though I mentioned the Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Cream in my posts, I never really took the time to review it. BUT, obviously, that had to change! 

Let’s first get to know Sol de Janeiro a bit better!

Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Cream

The Bum Bum Cream is an award-winning all-over body cream and is the ultimate Brazilian Beauty Secret. It’s supposed to smell deliciously and fast-absorbing. This body cream helps smooth and visibly tighten the appearance of the skin. 

It’s ALL about the booty in Brazil, which is probably why Brazil has the smallest bikinis and best-fitting jeans. The Bum Bum Cream is supposed to be the secret for this! However, this product isn’t only for your booty but works for your legs, tummy, arms, and all over the body as well. 

I’m a true summer lover and as soon spring is coming, I start preparing for summer already lol. One of my products to prepare my skin for the summer is the Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Cream. I mean, who doesn’t want smooth and tighter skin?! 

Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Cream Review

I already said this but the packaging screams summer to me. I love the bright orange with white, it just immediately makes me think of warm weather, beaches, and tanning.

Bum Bum Cream Scent

The Bum Bum Cream scent is something else. The fragrance notes are the following: 

• Top: pistachio, almond
• Mid: heliotrope, jasmine petals
• Dry: vanilla, salted caramel, sandalwood 

The scent is pretty intense so I can imagine that not everyone is going to love this. However, I’m obsessed. The scent is my favorite ever, I truly love it. 

Bum Bum Cream Formula

The cream is quickly absorbing into the skin, which I prefer because I hate when my skin feels sticky or greasy. It’s very hydrating, makes my skin feel super smooth and soft.

But…. does it work?

It definitely made my skin very smooth but what about the visibly tighten the appearance of the skin claim? To test this, I applied the Bum Bum Cream on my boobs since I have some stretch marks there and I wanted to see if it would tighten my skin. 

I’m not going to put my boobs all over the internet lol so you have to believe me on this one. After using the Bum Bum Cream for only a couple of days every evening, I already saw some difference. The skin felt a bit tighter and it even helped with making my stretch marks less visible! 

After using the Bum Bum Cream for a couple of weeks, I really felt like my skin was way better hydrated, softer and tighten. I don’t think the differences are this huge that other people would immediately see it but the differences were huge enough to make me feel more confident. 

I, of course, did not only use this cream for my boobs but applied it all over my body. Also, my booty seemed to look a bit tighter than before. However, I didn’t really see much of a difference in other places when it comes if the tighten claim. My whole body feels very soft, smooth and hydrated.  

If you like a greatly hydrating product with an amazing scent, which also happens to smooth and tighten the skin I’m positive you’ll love this Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Cream!
