Multipurpose makeup products have been the trend lately, but I didn’t expect a bareMinerals blush and bronzer in one: blonzers! When I think of multipurpose products, I think about a cream blush that’s also a lip tint or something like that.

Creating a product that is both a blush and a bronzer is definitely a new concept and I’m here for it. I purchased all three bareMinerals Blonzers to see if this is an innovative, new product or just a marketing flop.

The bareMinerals Blonzers are supposed to combine the glow of a bronzing powder with the flush of blush in one step. Sounds interesting to me! Let’s dive into this product a little bit more.

bareMinerals Blonzers

I’m not going to lie, when I first heard the name ‘Blonzers’ I kinda thought this was just a fun, marketing name. It made me think about the Becca Cosmetics Zero Pigment Foundation which ended up being just a primer lol. The Blonzers shades did catch my attention immediately though because they look absolutely stunning. bareMinerals launched 3 different shades:

  • Kiss Of Pink: a moderately warm-toned, light pink with a pearl finish.
  • Kiss Of Copper: a brighter, medium orange with warm, reddish undertones and light, metallic sheen.
  • Kiss Of Rose: a moderately warm-toned, medium-dark copper with a metallic finish.

All three shades retail for $25 each and contain 0.13 oz / 3.8 g. The Blonzers are cruelty-free, vegan, gluten-free, and SLS-free. bareMinerals is a cruelty-free, clean beauty brand, so none of their products contain chemical ingredients and aren’t tested on animals.

What It Is

“An effortless, fresh-from-the-beach glow is just a sweep away. Our limited-edition talc-free Blonzer combines the glow of a bronzing powder with the flush of blush in one step, all while smoothing and minimizing the look of imperfections.

The bronzer-blush hybrid features a silky texture that blends seamlessly and builds color effortlessly, leaving a luminous finish that mimics your skin’s natural radiance after a day in the sun” (Source: bareMinerals).

bareMinerals Blonzer Swatches

The texture of the blushes is really smooth, velvety, and soft. It swatches easily, just like it applies easily on the face. Mind you that these blushes are pretty pigmented so you don’t want to go in heavy-handed. A little goes a long way! I personally like to use a soft, fluffy blush to make sure I go in light-handed.

It’s easy to pick up product with your brush and it’s not at all powdery. It blends out quickly and seamlessly. The Blonzers have a gorgeous soft glow to them which looks very natural and healthy on the cheeks.

But now onto the real question: do I think these bareMinerals blushes and bronzers work together as one? Yes! I have to mention that I personally think that Kiss Of Pink isn’t a bronzer shade, so I wouldn’t use this one on its own as a blush and bronzer in one. It does work really well as a blush though!

The other two shades Kiss Of Copper and Kiss Of Rose really do work as a blush and bronzer in one. I also really liked combining the shades. I would apply Kiss Of Pink as a blush and mix it in with Kiss Of Rose that I used more as a bronzer, the combination looks stunning!

The Blonzers really give that warmth of a bronzer and the flush of color of a blush, I love that! I also really like the fact that this product isn’t just marketing, it really works. Especially Kiss Of Copper and Kiss Of Rose both are a huge hit to me.

Kiss Of Pink is like my favorite type of blush shade so even though I wouldn’t use it as a bronzer, I would use it as a blush anytime. All three shades are just gorgeous! I totally forgot to take pictures of me wearing the blushes, am I really a beauty blogger now I made this mistake?, but I will take some and add them in later.

What do you think of these bareMinerals blush & bronzer in one? Can you see yourself wearing them or do you prefer just to wear blush and bronzer? Let me know in the comments!

  1. Wow I am really intrigued by the blonzer concept! I love how nude blushes look on my skin so I think I would really like these. I always get excited to apply blush so I would have to be careful to use a light and fluffy brush like you said so I don’t look like a crazy person. I love the “kiss of copper” shade. Beautiful photography by the way!

  2. I think this is such a cool concept! I was so interested in reading your thoughts on these blonzers after hearing the introduction as it’s definitely an innovative product. I agree that Kiss of Pink is essentially just a blusher but that shade Kiss of Rose looks absolutely unreal. I definitely see myself picking one of these up in the future as I’d love to play around with it. Definitely cant wait for some photos of you wearing these as well 🙂
