A new skincare line has landed: Rhode Skin by Hailey Rhode Bieber! I’m usually quite over the makeup & skincare launches from celebrities, but I was impatiently waiting for Rhode to launch. Hailey’s skin is flawless, so I obviously want to try whatever she uses to get this perfectly glazed skin.

On top of that, I’m a massive fan of The Biebers. So I went out of my way to get all the products because they don’t ship internationally just yet (they confirmed they will in the future), and here we are!

Most of you probably know by now that I’ve been an OG Belieber since 2009, and since Hailey and Justin became close friends (around 2015-ish), I instantly loved her. Do some research on Hailey, and watch some videos, and her personality, humor, cuteness, and overall positive vibes will have you hooked too. 🙂

Even though I’m a huge fan of both Justin and Hailey, I’m still completely honest in this review. I never sugarcoat my thoughts, as I pride myself on my transparency.

Rhode Skin Peptide Glazing Fluid

Hailey’s signature step to dewy, glazed skin. A lightweight, quick-absorbing gel serum that visibly plumps, hydrates, and supports a healthy skin barrier.

It feels like yummy, lightweight gel serum that glides effortlessly. It’s fragrance-free, cruelty-free, vegan, gluten-free, and dermatologist-tested + developed.

Benefits

  • Plumps + hydrates skin
  • Instantly illuminates for a glazed finish
  • It supports a healthy skin barrier over time

Best Suited For

Sensitive skin + all skin types.

How To Use

After morning or night cleansing, glaze the face with 1-2 pumps.

Rhode Skin Barrier Restore Cream

Rich but lightweight, cream moisturizer to comfort, soothe, and restore the skin barrier. Their antioxidant peptide powerhouse delivers hydrated, smoother, softer skin over time.

It feels like a rich, cooling creamy goodness and is fragrance-free, cruelty-free, vegan, gluten-free, and dermatologist-tested + developed.

Benefits

  • Soothes + comforts a compromised skin barrier
  • Nourishes + hydrates skin

Best Suited For

Sensitive skin + all skin types.

How To Use

Apply a half-finger length amount to cleansed skin in the morning and/or at night.

*rhode rule: apply PEPTIDE GLAZING FLUID first, then layer BRC for ultimate skin barrier nourishment.

Rhode Skin Peptide Lip Treatment

A restorative lip treatment for naturally plump, pillowy-soft lips — day or night. This dreamy formula leaves lips looking glossy and works hard to protect and nourish dry skin from within.

It feels like a thick glaze that glides on smoothly and is fragrance-free (unless you buy watermelon slice or salted caramel, which do have slight scents) as well as cruelty-free, vegan, gluten-free, and dermatologist-tested + developed. It’s available in 3 flavors: unscented, watermelon slice, and salted caramel.

Benefits

• Restores + replenishes dry lips
• Helps lock in moisture for plumper, softer lips

Best Suited For

Sensitive skin + all skin types.

How To Use

Apply a nice layer to the lips, day or night. For a plumping lip mask, apply a thick layer and allow it to sit for 10 minutes. Wipe off any excess before applying lipstick or lip liners.

Rhode Skincare Review

After using the products for well over a month, I can say that I truly love all the products. The Lip Treatment might be my fave, the Barrier Restore Cream, or the Glazing Fluid…

I don’t think I can pick a fave. 🙂 All of them have something unique, and I think Rhode is bringing something new and innovative to the skincare community!

I also like how all products are cruelty-free, fragrance-free, and vegan. On top of that, the brand supports women in different ways, which you can read more about here.

After the first couple of uses, my skin responded slightly irritated to the products. Nothing too bad, just some slight stingy feeling because my skin was extremely dry. This happened the first 2-3 times, and never again, so I think this irritation had to do with the change in weather, as it was getting warmer here.

My skin felt drier and more irritated than usual, not particularly the products causing this reaction. After the products sunk in, my skin felt way more hydrated! However, I did want to mention that this happened.

Last note before we dive into each product, I get a facial every 7-8 weeks, and when I got a facial before I started using the products, my skin was always dehydrated (this is what an actual expert told me).

When I was using Rhode for six weeks, the last time I went, my skin looked hydrated and stable. I haven’t tested any other products, so I think we can admit that the products work.

Rhode Skin Peptide Glazing Fluid

This is probably the most unique product for me, as I don’t have tried anything like this before. I’ve tested hydrating serums and glowing serums but never hydrating, glowing, and restoring in one. Which I think is cool and innovative. If I use this, I instantly have hydrated, glowy skin.

The texture is gel-like, very lightweight, and absorbs quickly. My skin doesn’t feel greasy or sticky at all. I feel dewy and healthy.

I would say that the longer-term results of this Glazing Fluid are maybe not super visible to me; the facial was enough confirmation to me that this truly hydrates the skin.

Rhode Skin Barrier Restore Cream

This has to be one of my all-time favorite moisturizers of all time. I’m pretty picky when it comes to my moisturizer, I don’t like a cream that’s too thick, but it has to give me enough hydration.

Creams that do this for me are the Clinique Moisturizer Moisture Surge and Glow Recipe Plum Plump Cream, and I haven’t found anything similar or that I like just as much, but I’m now adding the Barrier Restore Cream to that list.

It’s the perfect balance between a lightweight cream, just a bit thicker than the other two I mentioned, for enough hydration. I love it!

Rhode Skin Peptide Lip Treatment

The Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balms need to make space for the Rhode lip treatments. I don’t think I ever want to use another lip balm other than the Summer Fridays ones and the Rhode Skin ones in my life. I love how hydrating, plumping, and moisturizing these Rhode lip treatments are!

Plus, they leave a gloss-like finish which is super pretty too. Compared to the Summer Fridays lip balm, the Rhode lip treatment has a little thicker formula but isn’t sticky or heavy on the lips. It’s such a pleasant formula, comfortable, and I’ve never experienced dry lips.

I love to use this as my nighttime lip balm, but it works as a gorgeous gloss over a lip liner or lipstick too! I can’t recommend this lip treatment enough.

Oh, and I also love that there’s an unscented version for the people who don’t like fragrance or are allergic to fragrance! But if you love a scent, the watermelon and salted caramel scents are to die for.

Final Verdict

Everything about this skincare line feels thoughtful, thorough, and transparent. Hailey put her heart and soul into this brand, and it shows.

The quality is top-notch, while the prices are affordable. If there’s one celebrity brand out there where I’m 100% sure it’s not a cash grab, it’s Rhode Skin.

I’m a little biased because I love Hailey as a person, but I genuinely love her brand and products! I can’t wait to see what products she comes out with next (she has been hinting at a cleanser!), but for now, I will be a happy glazed donut every day.
