Let me just start off with the facts: No makeup makeup looks aren’t going away anytime soon. And I’m not mad about that! One of the reasons why I love makeup so much is that it can help you appear wide-awake even when we’re anything but. The way you can transform your face, with makeup products but without the look of using makeup products is truly a great life hack. But which products are essential in creating a no makeup makeup look? I’ll share them in today’s post!

We all have skin issues, some more often than others, but most of us recognize the appearance of pores, dark under-eye circles, blemishes, etc. So of course we all need a good concealer, nude lip, or perfect eyebrow pencil every now and then. And that’s totally fine!

However, a no makeup makeup look doesn’t require that many products. You can obviously add or remove products from your routine to fit your needs. Some people will feel the need to add a brow pencil while others don’t really think it’s necessary, for example. So the products mentioned in this post are just recommendations, feel free to skip some of them if you don’t think you need them. All you have to do is find the products that really work for you!

Supergoop! – Unseen Sunscreen SPF 40 PA+++

Sunscreen is obviously an important step in every type of makeup routine so I couldn’t skip this one. I personally hate the feeling and look of sunscreen but this Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen changed the sunscreen game for me. Definitely recommend checking these out if you haven’t found a sunscreen you love yet. Other great options are Supergoop! – Glowscreen Sunscreen SPF 40 PA+++, Supergoop! – Mattescreen Sunscreen SPF 40, and Supergoop! – Mineral Sheerscreen SPF 30 PA+++.

bareMinerals – Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 30

This bareMinerals Tinted Moisturizer has been my holy grail. I love how it makes my skin look even, natural, and less textured without it looking like a foundation. It’s lightweight, hydrating, and even contains SPF. You can literally pop this on and leave the house if you want to! Other great options are Fenty Beauty Skin Tint, Nudestix Tinted Cover Foundation, IT Cosmetics CC Cream, and Ilia Beauty Super Serum Skin Tint.

Kosas – Revealer Super Creamy + Brightening Concealer

This Kosas concealer is great because it’s super creamy, that visibly brightens, and helps reveal better-looking skin. It has a radiant finish, which I like for a no makeup makeup look. Moreover, this concealer is basically an eye cream too, due to its skincare ingredients such as Hyaluronic Acid and Peptides. Other great options are the NARS Radiant Concealer, Tarte SEA Hydrocealer Concealer, and Urban Decay Stay Naked Concealer.

Nudestix – Nudies Bloom All Over Dewy Color

This product is not only a blush but can be used for the eyes and lips as well. It’s a sheer formula in a skin-loving, fresh, dewy balm that melts to look like radiant skin, but better. If you purchase a product like this, you’re basically done with your complete look within minutes when putting this on your eyes, lips, and cheeks! Other great options are the Fenty Beauty Cream Blush, Tower 28 BeachPlease Cream Blush, NARS Air Matte Sheer Cream Blush, and Melt Cosmetics Blushlight Cream Blush.

Tower 28 Beauty – Bronzino Illuminating Cream Bronzer

This is an illuminating bronzer balm for that effortless summer glow-from-within. I love how you can use this as a bronzer, but it also works as a blush and a highlighter as well. This bronzer has a glow to it, which makes your cheeks look dewy, but in a natural way, while providing warmth to the cheeks. Other great options are the Kosas The Sun Show Bronzer, Huda Beauty Glowish Bronzer, and Patrick Ta Major Sculpt Bronzer.

Rare Beauty – Positive Light Liquid Luminizer Highlight

I love a natural glow, so I like to use highlighters that do just that. I don’t need a blinding glow, even though you could build this Rare Beauty highlighter up into a blinding glow if you want to. To keep it more natural, you just need a little bit on the higher points of your face, and voila, a lasting, soft, and luminous finish! Other great options are the Saie Glowy Super Gel Highlighter, Makeup By Mario Soft Glow Highlighter, and Natasha Denona I Need A Nude Glow Highlighter.

Dior – Backstage Face & Body Powder No Powder Setting Powder

This weightless, translucent powder reduces shine, sets makeup, and warms the complexion if you want to (just purchase a darker shade). I love how this powder sets my face, but you literally cannot tell I wear powder. This is obviously a great product if you want to set your face but still want to look like you’re not wearing any makeup. Other great options are the Kosas Cloud Set Baked Setting Powder and Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder.

Anastasia Beverly Hills – Brow Wiz Eyebrow Pencil

To me, the Brow Wiz is truly an oldie but goldie. I have been using this pencil for years and years now, and I keep purchasing new ones. This pencil helps me achieve natural-looking brows, but just a little bit fuller and sharper than my own brows look without product. Other great options are Charlotte Tilbury Brow Cheat Eyebrow Pencil, Huda Beauty #BombBrows Microshade Brow Pencil, and Kosas Brow Pop Clean Dual-Action Defining Eyebrow Pencil.

Glossier – Boy Brow Eyebrow Gel

This Glossier Boy Brow Gel is a staple in my collection. It puts my brow hairs in place and stays in place all day. This is perfect for the people who want to set their eyebrow pencil or other brow products but works well for people that just want to set their brows into place for a natural look. You can use the transparent version, but they also have tinted brow gels for just a little bit of filling the brows without it looking too much! Other great options are Patrick Ta Major Brow Lamination Gel, Anastasia Beverly Hills – Clear Brow Gel, and Kosas Air Brow Clear Brow Gel.

Too Faced – Better Than Sex Mascara

I personally won’t leave the house without wearing mascara so this step is unavoidable to me. I love this Too Faced mascara so much and repurchased it multiple times. It just gives my lashes way more volume and length, which is what they need! Other great options are Marc Jacobs Beauty At Lashd Lengthening and Curling Mascara, KVD Beauty Go Big or Go Home Mascara, and Fenty Beauty Full Frontal Volume, Lift & Curl Mascara.

lilah b. – Lovingly Lip Tinted Lip Oil

Lovingly Lip cushions lips and provides sheer-to-medium coverage with a light, smooth, and silky finish. Perfect if you’re looking for a ‘my lips but better’ product + you’re getting the benefits of a lip balm as well due to the bilberry seed oil, milk thistle extract, and vitamin E. This means super comfortable lips with a gorgeous hint of color! Other great options are ILIA Balmy Gloss Tinted Lip Oil, NARS Soft Matte Tinted Lip Balm, and Rare Beauty With Gratitude Dewy Lip Balm.

Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Lip Gloss

If you’re in for a more glowy finish, I would recommend finishing the look with a lip gloss instead of a lip tint. One of my favorite glosses is the Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb lipglosses. They’re very comfortable, high shine, smell delicious, and non-sticky. You can’t go wrong with one of the Fenty glosses! Other great options are Tower 28 ShineOn Milky Lip Jelly Gloss, Kylie Cosmetics High Gloss, and Kosas Wet Lip Oil Plumping Treatment Gloss.
