The only primer I ever used is the MAC Fix+ Prep and Prime spray so I was really curious how a cream primer would perform on my face. That’s why I really wanted to try this Too Faced primer. Oh, and it smells amazing!
As you might have seen, I bought this primer when I was in NYC a couple of weeks ago. Ugh, it’s been weeks already yes… I miss NYC! Back to the review haha. I tried this primer on my hand when I was in Sephora and it felt really soft. My mom wanted to try a primer as well so we decided to buy this one together and use it together. Since then we have been using this primer almost daily and I’m ready to write a review about my thoughts.
Too Faced Primer
Let’s start with the packaging. I think it looks very cute! I love the ombre effect with the pink and the gold details. It’s really something that caught my eye in the store. It has a pomp which I really like and think is hygienic. You don’t have to push hard to get the product out and you won’t spill the product easily.
The product itself is peachy/pinkish which perfectly matches the packaging and the smell is delicious! I really like how they made it look like a peach and even smell like one. On the right picture, I have massaged the product into my skin. I don’t know if you can tell any difference, but I can see and feel it. First of all, my skin feels really smooth! Second of all, I do see that it blurred and brightened my hand.
It feels the same on my face, it’s smooth, blurring, hydrating and it brightens. It doesn’t make my skin look oily so it has a little bit of a matte finish. The primer is really comfortable and lightweight which is amazing. It makes my foundation look absolutely perfect and smooth. I’m not really sure if it is the primer or the other products I use, but my makeup stays on all day without reapplying and I do think it has to do with the primer as well.
