If you use foundation, make sure to lock your foundation before you start contouring. You can do this by using translucent powder. You can use different types of contour products, you have more creamy products or powdery products. You can use whatever suits you the best. I use powder contour myself so I’ll explain that. Tip for choosing the right contour color: go with a color that’s more on the neutral or cool side. That way, the color helps mimic a shadow. Using a contour brush, apply the color into your temples, working in circular and sweeping motions.
Start by angling your brush at the top of your ear and moving it toward the corner of your mouth. Make sure to avoid a harsh line because that doesn’t look very natural. Also, keep in mind to work some of the product into the hairline to avoid harsh lines as well.

It’s possible to contour your nose and your chin as well. This is optional. I don’t contour my nose or chin because I don’t think it’s necessary. If you would like to contour your nose, create two parallel lines down your nose and into the creases of your eyelids. You can contour your chin in a ‘V’ shape to make it look smaller.

I love bronzer because it gives me a little more summertime look. For a subtle summertime look, sweep a shimmery shade from your temples, down below your cheekbones, then bring it under your chin in a 3-shaped motion. Instant beach glow! If you want something more noticeable, dust a bit onto the tip of your nose, where the sun would normally hit.

I love to finish this look with some highlighter and blush to make it look very natural and sun-kissed but that’s optional of course.

The product I use to contour and bronze is the KKW Beauty Powder Contour and Highlight kit but they also have contour sticks if you would like a more creamy product. I would highly suggest these products but they’re many more products which work great as well! I’ve seen some pretty Anastasia Beverly Hills and Too Faced bronzers and MAC Cosmetics has some amazing contour shades so you can check these brands out as well.

Hope to see you next time loves,
