So I recently did a Urban Decay makeup haul because I just had to test out their new Stay Naked foundation and concealer. Moreover, I just fell in love with the Naked Honey palette so I bought that one as well. Also my brow pencil was almost empty and I was like: why not order a UD brow pencil too so I can test that one out either? And so I bought it all and my Urban Decay makeup haul happened. Curious to see my thoughts, swatches and look? Then keep on reading!
Urban Decay Makeup Haul
Urban Decay has been the first makeup brand I actually wanted to buy something from. A couple of years ago (well, I’m talking about 10 years lol, I was 11 or 12 years back then), I fell in love with the OG Urban Decay Naked palette. I remember being in Paris, dragged my parents to Sephora and searched for that particular palette. It was sold out and I was so sad!
Back then, I wasn’t even wearing makeup yet but I just had to get that palette. I think this is where my makeup love slowly started. Anyways, I always loved Urban Decay as you can tell. Their Naked Skin concealer has been one of my first high-end concealers I tried and loved.
That made me want to try the new Stay Naked concealer. But I was also very excited and curious about the new Stay Naked foundation. I never tried an Urban Decay foundation before so I didn’t have any references but I saw a lot of positive reviews online.
When it comes to Urban Decay palettes, I own a couple of them. Right now, I have the Urban Decay Naked 2, Urban Decay Naked Cherry, Urban Decay Petite Heat Palette and Urban Decay Aphrodiastic palette. While writing this blog post, I found out I actually only did a full review of the UD Petite Heat Palette. Would you still want to see a review of the other palettes? I could do a UD swatch party (where I include all my UD palettes and compare them)? Let me know if this is something you would like!
Urban Decay Makeup Haul – The Look
In the pictures above, I used all the products I bought during my Urban Decay makeup haul. I’ll give you the details and prices first:
- Urban Decay Stay Naked Foundation – $39 and contains 30 ml / 1 oz.
- Urban Decay Stay Naked Concealer – $29 and contains 10.2 g / 0.35 oz.
- Urban Decay Naked Honey Eyeshadow palette – $49 and contains 12 x 0.95 g / 12 x 0.033 oz.
- Urban Decay Brow Beater in Taupe – $20 and contains 0.05 g / 0.001oz.
The pictures above aren’t edited or photoshopped, so you can see how the foundation and concealer look like on my skin without being fooled.
Urban Decay Stay Naked Foundation
I mean, did you see the pictures? My skin is looking flawless! I love this foundation so much. It’s super lightweight so I barely feel anything sitting on my face. I used one pump to cover one side of my face, that’ll give you a light to medium coverage. I used another pump to build up the coverage on my cheeks and forehead a bit. I would say 1,5 pump per side aka 3 pumps for the whole face and you definitely have medium coverage. The foundation is easily buildable which I think is amazing.
The foundation dries down matte, however, it doesn’t feel drying on my face. I have combination skin and even the dry patches on my face don’t feel irritated. I was scared that this foundation might accentuate my dry patches around my eyes and nose but it didn’t!
I bought the shade NN30 which ended up being a perfect match. I didn’t go to the store to get me shade-matched but I would recommend doing that. I feel like the foundation is a bit lighter than the actual packaging for example. I was doubting between NN20 and NN30, since I’m definitely pale lol, but I’m glad that I decided to get NN30 because NN20 would’ve been too light. Make sure to keep that in mind when you order online! If you want to make sure you get the right shade, please go to a store close to you. 🙂
Urban Decay Stay Naked Concealer
This concealer also contributed to the amazing results you saw above. I also really like the applicator, since it’s with a bit of a tip so it’s easy to conceal precisely. Mind you, this concealer was lighter than I expected it to be. But I ended up liking the shade since it does give a more brightening effect. If you don’t want that effect, I recommend buying a shade darker (the same shade as your foundation shade for example).
The concealer dries down pretty quickly so keep this in mind when you’re applying it. When it dries down, it dries down matte. I was scared this would make my under eyes crease a lot since my eyes are a bit dry as I said before. But it didn’t, even with the foundation and the concealer together, it stayed on without creasing or getting into these dry patches.

Wear Test – Up to 24 hour wear?
So Urban Decay promises us that both the foundation and the concealer are up to 24-hour wear. I didn’t plan on sleeping with these products lol, but I tested wearing both the products for a whole day. In total, we’re talking about 11 hours wearing the foundation and concealer. I’m surprised how good these stayed on! The only place I had some creasing was in my smile lines and a bit between my brows since I have a little frown line there. Other than that, no creasing. It stayed on perfect during the day, I didn’t do any touch-ups at all. I’m impressed!
Urban Decay Naked Honey Palette
I love a good neutral-toned eyeshadow palette and I love it even more during fall. When I saw this palette, I fell in love and I knew I just had to get it. The shades in this palette aren’t anything special, it’s just a gorgeous brown-toned palette. This might be a boring palette for a lot of people, but I do think it’s a very wearable palette if you’re looking for something for the daytime.
I have to mention that I found out that the shadows are more pigmented when using my finger then using a brush. Especially the metallic shades in this palette. When I tried to apply them with my brush, I had to reapply multiple times to make it show up a bit. I was wearing a metallic shade on my lids in the look above and you can’t really tell. However, while swatching they actually showed up a lot better. So using your finger or wetting your brush will help you with the metallics shades to show up.
Overall, the palette was easy to work with, it blended well except for one shade. The darkest brown shade Sting ended up looking a bit patchy even though I blended for so long. I had a bit of fallout while using the palette as well.
You always get a dual-ended brush with the palette which I think is cool. However, most of the time I’m not even using it. I tried playing around with it this time, so I could give you my thoughts on the brush as well and I ended up not minding the brush but I’m not super enthusiastic either. It’s just a good brush which will work when using the palette.
I’m still doubting if I think this palette is worth the $49 or not. It’s a beautiful palette but it does have some cons. For now, I definitely don’t regret buying it and I’m playing around with it, even more, to see if I think it’s worth the money.
That’s it for my Urban Decay Makeup Haul & Look! I hope you enjoyed reading my review and you like the look I created.
See you next time loves,
