Glossier doesn’t ship to the Netherlands yet, so I haven’t been able to buy products for a while sadly. Once I found out how I was able to ship US products to me, I knew I had to get Glossier products! I decided to start off by trying two products and see if I would like it or not.

One of my favorite Youtubers, ClaireLucia, is a Dutch girl who lived in NYC for 1,5 years. I think she was the one who introduced me to Glossier. She was raving about a couple of products and so this made me enthusiastic. I’m pretty sure she loved the Glossier lipgloss so I ended up buying that. I also wanted a replacement for my Kylie Skin Vitamin C serum. I did like that serum but I wanted to try other ones as well so I could compare.

Glossier Products

Details about the two Glossier products:

Glossier Super Glow Vitamin C + Magnesium Serum

Ever wish you could turn up the brightness on your skin? Super Glow does just that. Vitamin C and Magnesium (two things your body needs anyway!) energize and even the look of skin tone, creating a light-reflecting complexion. The milky emulsion soaks in immediately, delivering a delicate balance of 5% Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (MAP for short—it’s a more stable form of Vitamin C) with Magnesium PCA’s mineral properties to improve the look of dark spots without irritation. Skin feels as if it’s been recharged, like a fresh battery at 100%. Use it after late nights at the office or 4 am Instagram holes. Add Super Glow to your daily routine for that “lit from within” look, all the time.

*Reformulated on May 13, 2019. Due to the addition of Xanthan Gum (processed with an egg-derived enzyme) in the updated formula, this product is no longer vegan.

Good to know: hypoallergenic, dermatologist-tested, paraben-free, fragrance free, appropriate for all skin types, cruelty free.

My Thoughts

I was amazed, especially by the Vitamin C serum. I really love using it and I can tell my skin loves it too. After using this serum, my skin looks so natural glowy and healthy. I feel like this serum even hydrates the skin a bit, even though that’s not what’s promised. I’m overall very satisfied with this serum and I like it even more than the Kylie Skin one.

The formula is nice, the applicator is nice, the smell is nice, my skin is happy so what can I say more? I would really recommend this serum!

The lipgloss has a nice formula as well. Do I think it’s better than my all-time favorite lipgloss formula (the High Glosses from Kylie Cosmetics)? No, I don’t. But I do think it’s a very nice gloss, not sticky and looks very shiny on the lips.

Overall, I’m very happy with my Glossier products and I’m already thinking about what I’ll order next time. I’m definitely going to try out more products from the brand!

See you next time loves,

xoxo Simone

LOL! I was waiting to find out how you thought the Glossier Gloss compared to the Kylie High Glosses. I’ll be even more curious to see how you feel Fenty compares (as that is my total fave formula).

I’ve actually tried more of the makeup and less of the skincare from Glossier, but everyone seems to love that Vitamin C serum.

I really need to do some sort of beauty battle between the Kylie High Glosses and the Fenty Beauty Gloss Bombs!

Great review, I’ve personally never tried anything from Glossier yet but I’ve seen so many great things about them. My skin reacts badly to vitamin C products so I’d have to skip this serum, but I’d love to test the brand out x

Thank you so much! I’m sorry to hear your skin reacts badly to vitamin C products… Glossier does have a lot of other products that might suit your skin better!
