Kylie Cosmetics Valentine Collection 2019 | Review
From the start of Kylie Cosmetics I’ve been a huge fan of the creativity Kylie puts into her packaging as well as the quality of the products. I love how Kylie surprises her customers with every collection launch she does, at least she always surprised me! Once again, Kylie really surprised me with the Valentines Collection packaging and the products. The moment I saw the collection, I just knew I needed everything. Here are my thoughts on the Kylie Cosmetics Valentine Collection 2019.

Prices
I bought the whole bundle for $195 but you can also buy the products individually. The Lip Sets are $42 each, the Valentine palette is $45, the blush is $18 and the Glitter Eyes is $20. Right now, everything is sold out but there might be a restock in the future. Keep an eye out on the Kylie Cosmetics Instagram account for restock news.
I decided to test out the collection first, so I could give you an honest review of all the products in this collection. That’s why my blog post is a little later than expected. Moreover, I bought the products myself and I’m not paid by Kylie Cosmetics. My reviews are always honest.
Crush | Blush
I love blushes and I own a lot of them (mostly Kylie Cosmetics blushes though) and after testing it a while, I think this is my new favorite blush. The color fits my skin tone very well and gives me a natural color. Is perfectly pigmented (not too much at once, it’s buildable) and the texture is nice. I use my Real Techniques Blush Brush to apply this blush and this combination works very well for me.
Roses Are Red | Glitter Eyes
This is actually the first time I bought a Glitter Eyes. Kylie came out with other shades in other collections but I just didn’t know if I would like it. This time I thought why not just try and see how I like it. However, I’m still playing around with the product and how I can use it the best, I do think the color is so beautiful and this gives your look such an extra pop. The product stayed on very well and didn’t crumble.
The Valentine Palette | Eyeshadow palette
I really love the look of this palette. It has neutral shades but also a pop of color. Kandy Heart is catching my eyes every time I look at this palette. The top row contains all shimmers and the bottom row are all mattes. Moreover, the shade names are inside the palette which a lot of people prefer.
Kylie’s shimmers/metallics are always very pigmented however, the shimmers in this palette are very sheer. They are visible when I swatch them but they almost disappear on my lid. I’m a little bit disappointed in how these perform because I never have any problems with the shimmers/metallics in the palettes. To be honest, I have a feeling they’re supposed to be sheer which is totally fine by me but these are a little bit too sheer. I mean, I want to see them at least lol.
However, the mattes in this palette are extremely pigmented. Sometimes I see a little patchiness with the matte shades in Kylie’s palettes but I didn’t see that at all. I love using them! My favorite shades are the first 3 matte shades. I mostly use my Morphe brushes to create a look.
Forever Set | Lip Set
Love Set | Lip Set
Soulmate Set | Lip Set
So the Valentine Collection contains 3 different Lip Sets. The Forever Set contains a nude matte liquid lipstick and lip liner with a gold glitter gloss with pink reflects, the Love Set contains a rosy pink matte liquid lipstick and lip liner with a pink glitter gloss and the Soulmate Set contains a red matte liquid lipstick and lip liner with a champagne glitter gloss.
Kylie’s matte liquid lipstick formula is my favorite formula ever! However, I can see how this formula can be drying for some people. I recommend using a lip primer or lip balm before using this liquid lipstick. This formula stays on SO LONG! It really lasts the whole day. If I’m eating multiple times, I might have to reapply one time during the day. No other liquid lipstick stays on this long on my lips. Moreover, the formula is very thin and I can barely feel it on my lips. The pigment is great and the formula doesn’t crumble.
The lip liner is super creamy and pigmented, applies very smooth and precise and it’s easy to sharpen them. If you’re not really a liquid lipstick person, I would recommend Kylie Cosmetics lip liners! The formula is creamy but still super long lasting and not drying at all.
I’m not a gloss lover but Kylie’s High Glosses are my favorite glosses ever and I almost wear them every day! The formula is really hydrating, I’m also using them as a lip balm if I have dry lips. Moreover, the colors are stunning and I love how they’re looking. These 3 High Glosses all contain glitters and have a little tint to them. Kylie does have more High Glosses available (I wrote a review about them) already with no glitters which are opaque and a sheer gloss. She already revealed that’s she’s expanding the shade range with 5 more shades in March (one of the shades is a clear gloss) so if you haven’t found your shade, it might be coming in March!

Oh my that palette is stunning! Kandy Heart is such a gorgeous shade!!
I know, I love it! Kandy Heart is so pigmented and bright!
I love the packaging of Kylie Cosmetics but I’m not a fan of her makeup just because they’re so expensive and out of my budget but maybe someday I’ll try them out 🙂 you make them sound so good 🙂
I understand! Kylie Cosmetics is not very affordable. I hope you’ll be able to try them out one day because the quality is great, I love the products! 🙂
I’ve never read a blog post review about the Kylie makeup line so this was interesting to read 🙂 The packaging is definitely really cute and eye-catching. I love that Roses are Red swatch, it’s so sparkly!
Thank you! I know right, Roses Are Red is so sparkly and cute! 🙂
They all look pretty. Will try the lip set.
Hope you’ll love it just as much as I do!
The lip kits are amazing and how beautiful is that palette!! I want it all! Great review, thank you.
Alyssa
Thank you so much!!
This must be the first eyeshadow palette ever that I regret not buying. It looks so beautiful and now I can’t get it anywhere unless I pay crazy money for it. :<
Nawh that’s so sad! I really love this palette.
I do think Kylie released a couple of these shades as single shadows though! You might be able to build a somewhat similar palette 🙂
