I don’t like to exclude any skin tones, hair types, skin types, etc. on this blog but since I have fair skin myself, I won’t be able to advise on the best nude lipsticks for dark skin tones. That’s why I focus this blog post on the best nude lipsticks for fair skin because in the past couple of years I have gathered the 8 best ones out there!
I already wrote a blog post about the best bright lipsticks for fair skin so now it’s time to talk about my favorite nude lipsticks. I’ve tested so many lipsticks and even though every skin tone is a little different and unique, I’ll share the ones that work very well for me. I can’t promise they’ll look good on everyone but I’m pretty sure most of these nudes are very versatile and wearable for a lot of people.
The 8 Prettiest Nude Lipsticks For Fair Skin

1. bareMinerals Mineralist Hydra-Smoothing Lipstick in Insight
I recently discovered this bareMinerals lipstick formula and I really like it a lot! The shades are pigmented but creamy so they don’t dry out your lips. The shade Insight is one of my favorite nude lipsticks out of their range and I think will be flattering on so many of you!

2. Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips Lipstick 2 in Dancefloor Princess
I love this lipstick because of its awesome packaging but also because it’s a pretty light pinkish nude which suits me when I’m at my palest in winter. The formula is creamier than their matte formula, is very comfortable, and just great. Charlotte Tilbury’s lipsticks are too good, no criticism at all.

3. Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Pillow Talk
One of the prettiest, universal lipstick shades has to be Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick in Pillow Talk. Pillow Talk has a pinkish undertone but is very neutral so a lot of people can actually pull this shade off. Did you know that 1 Pillow Talk Matte Revolution lipstick is sold EVERY 2 MINUTES? I think that shows how many people love this lipstick. The formula is one of the best matte formulas out there.

4. Huda Beauty Power Bullet Cream Glow Lipstick in Angel
Not everyone is a lover of matte lipsticks, even though the Matte Power Bullet from Huda Beauty is very comfortable. However, if you prefer creamy lipstick then you need to try the Huda Beauty Cream Glow lipsticks! These lipsticks are pigmented, ultra-creamy, leave a gorgeous glowy finish, and are so comfortable. Angel is the most stunning, creamy nude lipstick!

5. Huda Beauty Matte Power Bullet Lipstick in Girls Trip
These lipsticks actually surprised me in a good way and I fell in love with the formula as well as the shades. The finish is matte but the lipstick will still feel pretty much creamy on the lips which makes them non-drying and very comfortable. I have a couple of favorite shades but Girls Trip has to be one of my favorite nudes!

6. MAC Cosmetics Satin Lipstick in Cherish
You can never go wrong with a MAC lipstick and there are so many beautiful shades in their collection, in different formulas as well. I do like their Matte and Satin formula the most and one of my favorite nude lipsticks is Cherish. MAC’s Satin formula is so comfortable, isn’t overly shiny, and has pretty good longevity. However, their matte formula stays on longer.

7. MAC Cosmetics Matte Lipstick in Kinda Sexy
As I already said, you can’t go wrong with MAC lipstick. I think their matte lipsticks might be their most popular formula because everyone and their mom know Velvet Teddy. Even though I love that shade too, I decided to pick Kinda Sexy which is also a very stunning nude. It has a peachy undertone, wears comfortable, and is long-wearing.

8. Natasha Denona I Need A Nude Lipstick in Beatrice
Another very comfortable, creamy lipstick with a softly luminous finish. I also really like that this range of nude lipsticks comes within 4 distinct undertones which makes it easier to pick the right shade for your skin tone or your preferred undertone. Beatrice is part of the Neutral Pink undertone, my favorite type of undertone!
What is your favorite nude lipstick? Let me know in the comments!
I love a good nude lipstick! I have so many I’m not sure what my favorite is. I would have to sit down and really go through everything and think about it. That Patrick Ta one looks like one to add to the wishlist.

Choosing favorites is really hard haha! While I was writing this post I kept thinking of more.
These lipsticks are super pretty. I thoroughly agree with you about the Pillow Talk Lipstick, it’s definitely one of my holy grail pink nude lipsticks. I’m also obsessed with the Power Bullet formula from Huda Beauty, the lipsticks are so creamy and glide on like a dream. That Pat McGrath lipstick is gorgeous too!
These are so pretty but maybe a bit too warm for me, I’m on the look for a new favourite since mine is from a brand I don’t think I will support anymore.
I am in my late 50’s and always wanted to wear a nude lip but it seems every one I try looks too pink or peachy and ‘old ladiesh’. My hair is salt-pepper, on the dark side. In the past I have gravitated to a mauvy-kind of lip. I usually make up my eyes with shades of grey. Do you have a recommendation for me? Matte is out-don’t like the feel. Thank you!!
Hi Carol! I mentioned Pillow Talk in this post, which is officially a matte lipstick but I know that Charlotte Tilbury has a Pillow Talk version in the ‘Superstar Lips’ formula, which is a creamy formula. Pillow Talk is a neutral pinkish shade, which isn’t too pink or too peachy and I think it’ll look very flattering! You might also like the Fenty Beauty Slip Shine Sheer Lipstick in the shade Makeout Break, this has also more of a neutral undertone. MAC Honey Love could also be a good nude lip match. I would suggest looking for a lipstick with a neutral undertone. A warm nude shade tends to look too peachy quickly so I would avoid these a bit. What I personally also like to do is mix and match with a lip liner and lipstick. If my lipstick is a bit more peachy, I try to wear a cooler toned lip liner so it neutralizes the peachy tone a bit. This way you can create your own perfect nude lipstick if you’re not able to find a good match in store. I really hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions 🙂
