  1. I love a good nude lipstick! I have so many I’m not sure what my favorite is. I would have to sit down and really go through everything and think about it. That Patrick Ta one looks like one to add to the wishlist.

  2. These lipsticks are super pretty. I thoroughly agree with you about the Pillow Talk Lipstick, it’s definitely one of my holy grail pink nude lipsticks. I’m also obsessed with the Power Bullet formula from Huda Beauty, the lipsticks are so creamy and glide on like a dream. That Pat McGrath lipstick is gorgeous too!

  3. These are so pretty but maybe a bit too warm for me, I’m on the look for a new favourite since mine is from a brand I don’t think I will support anymore.

  4. I am in my late 50’s and always wanted to wear a nude lip but it seems every one I try looks too pink or peachy and ‘old ladiesh’. My hair is salt-pepper, on the dark side. In the past I have gravitated to a mauvy-kind of lip. I usually make up my eyes with shades of grey. Do you have a recommendation for me? Matte is out-don’t like the feel. Thank you!!

    1. Hi Carol! I mentioned Pillow Talk in this post, which is officially a matte lipstick but I know that Charlotte Tilbury has a Pillow Talk version in the ‘Superstar Lips’ formula, which is a creamy formula. Pillow Talk is a neutral pinkish shade, which isn’t too pink or too peachy and I think it’ll look very flattering! You might also like the Fenty Beauty Slip Shine Sheer Lipstick in the shade Makeout Break, this has also more of a neutral undertone. MAC Honey Love could also be a good nude lip match. I would suggest looking for a lipstick with a neutral undertone. A warm nude shade tends to look too peachy quickly so I would avoid these a bit. What I personally also like to do is mix and match with a lip liner and lipstick. If my lipstick is a bit more peachy, I try to wear a cooler toned lip liner so it neutralizes the peachy tone a bit. This way you can create your own perfect nude lipstick if you’re not able to find a good match in store. I really hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions 🙂
