I kinda felt for a while that I wasn’t taking good care for my body. After 2 weeks in Turkey, my skin felt truly dehydrated and it was time for a change. I ordered the Kylie Skin Coconut Body Lotion and Body Scrub to see if it would help me hydrate my skin. In today’s blogpost I’m going to share my thoughts on the products, showing you swatches and telling the truth about if it’s worth the money or not.
Kylie Skin released three new products for summer. The Kylie Skin Coconut Body Lotion and Body Scrub and an SPF 30 sunscreen. I wasn’t able to buy the sunscreen, I think because of European laws, so I ended up just buying the body lotion and the body scrub. I love a coconut smell so I got excited about the products.
Kylie Skin Coconut Body Lotion and Body Scrub
The packaging is very soft and clean, which I like a lot. The carton packaging is the same as her first launch of Kylie Skin products. The bottles are white, which is different than the first launch of products because these products are soft pink. I like both the white and the soft pink packaging. I think it’s nice that the face products have another color than the body products, so you can’t mess them up. Let’s get deeper into the Kylie Skin Coconut Body Lotion and Body Scrub review.
Coconut Body Lotion
It’s actually a bigger bottle than I expected it to be, so that’s a nice surprise. The Body Lotion does indeed smell like coconut and I love it. It’s not an overwhelming smell but just enough to smell a sweet scent of coconut. Moreover, the Body Lotion is very hydrating. You might tell by the swatches. When you’re applying this to the skin, it’s very creamy and smooth and it absorbs quickly. My dry patches felt better after one time using this body lotion. I like it!
The Coconut Body Lotion retails for $24.
Coconut Body Scrub
This scrub is actually a pretty rough scrub so it’s for sure only for your body. Please don’t use this on your face, because it’s way too hard. For my body, I like a more rough scrub because it’s really exfoliating. Again, this Body Scrub has a delicious coconut smell, nothing too much. The scrub makes my skin feel so soft after using it and I really feel exfoliated. After the scrub, I love to use the Body Lotion because it immediately hydrates the skin. I recommend not using this body scrub too much, once a week is fine. The Body Lotion can be used every day if you’d like.
The Coconut Body Scrub retails for $26.
Overall, I do like both the products and I think they’re worth the money. Especially for the amount of product you get. But I kinda feel like how I felt when using the Kylie Skin Face Products: there’s nothing wrong with these products but they’re not special either. It’s not super revolutionary or ordinary, which of course is fine but you can get a lot of other products which are pretty much the same. Again, the products aren’t bad at all and I definitely don’t regret buying them. I just don’t think they’re that special or different than other products that are already on the market.
If you would like to try the products yourself, you can get a full bundle (Kylie Skin Coconut Body Lotion and Body Scrub + the sunscreen), a Body Lotion and Body Scrub bundle or the individual products.
