Finally! I’ve been waiting for this launch for years! The Bali Body SPF 50 products are available now and I couldn’t be more excited. Over the years, Bali Body has been mostly known as a self tan brand, even though they do have a couple of SPF 15 body oils. However, if I would use these with my pale (easily burned) skin I would turn into a lobster within 0.3 seconds. An SPF 50 range of products is totally my thing so I tested the products and I’m going to share my thoughts with you today.

Bali Body SPF 50 Range

The Bali Body SPF 50 Range contains 3 products: face sunscreen, body sunscreen, and face & body sunscreen spray. The SPF 50 range comes in a pretty light blue packaging – a different color than their self tanning products packaging which is beige, for example, you can check out the Self Tanning Mousse in Dark here. I’ll be going over each product explaining how to use it, the ingredients, and the claims before I’m sharing my thoughts.

Bali Body SPF 50 Range Review

I’m not going to lie, I’m insanely picky when it comes to sunscreen. My requirements are high so if I like a particular sunscreen, it’s GOOD. I was and still am super excited that I got the chance to test the Bali Body SPF 50 Range because I basically love all the products I’ve ever tried from them so I expected these to be awesome. Did the range live up to my super high expectations and requirements? Let me spill the tea!

Bali Body SPF 50 Hydrating Face Sunscreen

The Hydrating Face Sunscreen is very lightweight, which I really like because I get shivers from a thick sunscreen formula. I would say that it feels like a normal, lightweight moisturizer. It just glides onto the skin, doesn’t feel or look greasy and even though the liquid is white, it doesn’t leave any white cast. It absorbs very quickly and within a couple of seconds, you barely notice you just put on an SPF 50 sunscreen.

It’s supposed to be hydrating and I have to fully agree with this claim! My skin doesn’t feel or look dry when I applied the sunscreen, it feels nourished and hydrated – just like a moisturizer, as I already said. Moreover, I used this under my makeup several times and it didn’t influence the way my makeup looked or the longevity at all. I noticed no pilling, no greasiness, and no foundation moving. I tried to come up with a negative point about this sunscreen but… there just is none. I would rate this a 12/10. Awesome face sunscreen, even for the picky people like myself!

Bali Body SPF 50 Hydrating Body Sunscreen

Formula-wise the Body Sunscreen is basically the same as Face Sunscreen. The formula is very hydrating, lightweight, applies white but within seconds turning sheer, leaving no white cast, and absorbs quickly. After applying it sinks into the skin so you don’t feel a sticky or greasy residue. Instead of a moisturizer, I would compare this to a body lotion. It’s very comfortable sunscreen!

After a day in the sun, my skin would normally feel quite dehydrated and I always need to use an after-sun lotion. Using this Bali Body SPF 50 Hydrating Body Sunscreen, my skin feels great. I don’t feel the need to apply after-sun lotion, even though I still use it to calm the skin and give it some extra moisture, and my body still feels smooth and soft. I truly really really really like this Body Sunscreen!

Bali Body SPF 50 Aerosol Spray Sunscreen

I was most excited about the Aerosol Spray Sunscreen because I’m a lazy sunscreen applier lol. I know it’s recommended to blend it into the skin but if I leave the house (or go to the garden and don’t want to stand up to wash my hands lol) I just really like how I can spray this on and just leave it like that. However, I always put the Body Sunscreen on as a base before I leave the house or sunbathe. By just using the Spray you might miss some spots so it’s good to have a safe base covering your whole body.

Even though the Aerosol Spray sprays on white, it quickly transforms into a sheer formula when it’s on the skin. If you blend it into the skin with your hands, the white spray is gone within seconds and doesn’t leave a white cast at all. It absorbs super quickly and doesn’t feel sticky or greasy. It’s possible to use this on the face as well but I prefer using it just for the body and use the Face Sunscreen for my face only. The reason for that is the amazing face sunscreen formula, I’m obsessed with the Face Sunscreen so even though I really like the Spray, it can’t beat the Face Sunscreen for my face.

What I normally hate about water-resistant sunscreens, is that they leave a gross residue after a day of wearing them and even after showering. I just hate that feeling so much BUT this Spray doesn’t have that. It doesn’t leave any residue and my skin even feels soft. This is another amazing product for sure!

Conclusion

I don’t think I’ve ever tried a sunscreen range that I loved as much as I love this Bali Body SPF 50 Range. I feel protected in the sun, I haven’t had a sunburn and I feel comfortable because it’s so lightweight, non-sticky, and non-greasy. The Face Sunscreen and the Body Sunscreen are perfect products for every day – I have been wearing both these products almost every day since I got them – but I would totally take them with me on vacation too.

The Sunscreen Spray is a perfect product for the go! I would love to see Bali Body come out with a mini version that would fit easily in your bag to take with you every day.
