Rhode Pocket Blush Review: All 13 Shades Tested And Swatched

If you know me, you know I love blush. I have been impatiently waiting for the launch of the rhode Pocket Blush since the day Hailey Bieber teased them on her social media accounts.

Since Hailey loves dewy, natural-looking products, I had high hopes and expectations for this product. Once the blushes dropped, I bought all six shades immediately and couldn’t wait for them to arrive. I have tested them for the last few weeks, and I’m ready to share my thorough, non-biased, and fully honest thoughts!

Let’s dive into this rhode Pocket Blush review.

The Pocket Blushes are made with peptides and tamanu oil. They are recommended to be applied with your finger or a brush and tapped onto the cheeks. The packaging is made with upcycled post-consumer (PCR) materials.

The Results: Rhode Pocket Blush Review

CLAIMS:

• Wakes up cheeks and lips with a satiny, diffused flush;
• It melts on smoothly and stays all day;
• Lightweight formula that hydrates skin for baby-soft cheeks;
• Leaves a glowy finish without a greasy feel.

As you can see in the photos above, the blush swatch is very pigmented – one swipe of pigment is what you get. However, this does not have to scare you if you’re more of a natural blush lover! These blushes blend like a dream and basically melt into the skin. You can easily keep it like that or add more/a different shade if you want.

The application is a breeze because the formula is so creamy and glides on. I usually start with a few dots, blend this into the skin, and then see if I want more color added. Applying it with fingers, a brush, or a sponge works well for me. Blending with your finger gives the most natural and dewy finish, in my opinion though.

The formula is indeed lightweight and comfortable. As promised, it has a gorgeous dewy/glowy finish. It doesn’t look oily and never feels greasy. Even though the finish is on the dewier side, this doesn’t mean the blush fades quickly. Nope! I have them stay on all day without budging.

I think they may fade a little quicker on the girls with oilier skin types – I have normal to dry skin, and no problem with this whatsoever, but like I said, oily skin may see them disappear a bit sooner. The benefit of this formula and packaging is that they’re super easy to take with you, so touch-ups on the go are a breeze.

The claims made by the brand were realistic and exactly how I experienced the blushes myself.

I’ve been using these rhode Pocket Blushes non-stop since the moment they arrived. As I said, the formula is so creamy and easy to blend, + I love mixing and matching these shades as well as using them separately. These cuties have endless options, and I would 100% recommend them to anyone!
