The Inkey List Hyaluronic Acid Serum Is A #1 Skin Hero
Ever wondered if an $8 The Inkey List Hyaluronic Acid Serum would do the job? I know I did. Even though the title is giving away what I think of this serum, I promise you it’s worth reading the post. Why? Because at the end of this post, you’ll know…
The Inkey List send me the serum in PR with no obligations to post. On top of that, I have purchased the serum multiple times myself before, and my thoughts are always my own.
- Very hydrating and plumping
- It leaves my skin glowy and soft
- Cruelty-free, vegan, and recyclable
- Very affordable while delivering high-quality
- Packaging quickly squeezes out more product than you need
I’m a huge fan of The Inkey List because the brand proves that high-quality, effective skincare doesn’t have to be expensive, and I really like that. The Inkey List Oat Cleansing Balm is already one of my faves, but I think it’s about time I start writing a post including all of my personal favorite products because this brand is so worth trying.
Anyway, we’re here for The Inkey List Hyaluronic Acid Serum today, and yes, this is another staple in my collection, so I’m going to fully explain what this product is, what it does, and how it works on my skin. If this still hasn’t convinced you, I have included some great alternatives you want to check out. But first, let’s dive into this review!
What Is The Inkey List Hyaluronic Acid Serum
The Inkey List Hyaluronic Acid Serum is easily absorbed and works across multiple layers of the skin, hydrating your skin, helping it appear plump and smooth while reducing the appearance of fine lines.
Hyaluronic Acid Serum is a powerful moisture-binding and non-sticky ingredient that works beneath the skin surface and can hold up to 1000x its weight in water. โCombatting dry skin, Hyaluronic Acid Serum helps ensure your skin is hydrated and looks healthy, therefore it’s a must-have step in every recipe!
Best Suited For
Everyone! However, the Serum targets dry skin, dehydrated skin, and fine lines + wrinkles specifically. A drier skin type can benefit from Hyaluronic Acid Serum because it holds 1000 times its weight in water. Mature skin can benefit from Hyaluronic Acid Serum as it helps to plump the skin.
How To Use
- Hyaluronic Acid Serum can be used in your AM & PM skincare routine.
- We suggest using Hyaluronic Acid Serum as a first step after cleansing to help draw moisture into the skin.
- On cleansed, damp skin, apply a pea-sized amount to the face and neck.
- Follow with preferred treatments & moisturizer.
- Applying Hyaluronic Acid Serum to damp skin helps to lock in moisture
- Hyaluronic Acid Serum aids the application of other products in your routine, helping them absorb better whilst not pilling.
Things To Note
The Inkey List Hyaluronic Acid Serum retails for $8 and is cruelty-free, vegan (is now certified by The Vegan Society), safe for those who are pregnant or breastfeeding, and recyclable.
Where To Buy
The Inkey List is available at their own website theinkeylist.com, Sephora, and Cult Beauty.
The Inkey List Hyaluronic Acid Serum Review
The Inkey List Hyaluronic Acid Serum is one of my favorite Hyaluronic Acid Serums because of how it easily applies to the skin and absorbs within seconds, while never feeling greasy or sticky (maybe 0.3 seconds of stickiness right after you apply the serum but that happens with every serum). My skin always looks, as Hailey Bieber would say, like a glazed donut and feels hydrated immediately.
Even though real results, like plumped skin and improved appearances of fine lines, happen after a week of 4-6, the hydrated and glazed donut effect is there right away so this makes me feel good already. As if it shows that it’s working, you know? Hydration is my biggest reason to use a Hyaluronic Acid serum so if that feels good and my skin isn’t irritated, I’m already happy.
But this serum does more, like I said, after a week of 4-6 I noticed a difference in the appearance of fine lines. My skin looked smoother and plump. However, I do think that the Inkey List Polyglutamic Acid Serum that I started using at the same time played a big part in this as well. The combination of the Polyglutamic Acid and the Hyaluronic Acid was a real hydration boost that worked really really well for my skin. If you have dry skin, I would really recommend trying this combination!
Formula-wise and effectivity-wise I don’t have any complaints, this product really works wonders, especially for dry/dehydrated skin. If I have to really think of a con, it would be the packaging. I noticed that I often squeezed out too much product which is kinda wasteful because you don’t really need much. The packaging makes it hard to squeeze out the right amount of product so a dropper would be better I think.
Alternatives
Final Verdict
I truly have nothing bad to say about The Inkey List Hyaluronic Acid Serum, as it does what it promises. I have hydrated and plump skin, fewer fine lines, and look like a glazed donut. Who do I want more?! The packaging is the only con for me, as I often squeezed out a little too much product. However, I will always repurchase this serum (which I did multiple times already!).
