I’ve given this product a thorough test drive and will share my findings with you, from its blendability to overall performance.

So if you’re searching for a new staple for your makeup routine, read on to find out if Rose Inc Blush Formula is the one you’ve been looking for. After all, who doesn’t want a radiant, rosy complexion that keeps us looking fresh all day long?

Overview Of The Rose Inc Blushes

I was ecstatic when I finally got my hands on the Rose Inc Blush Formula. Right off the bat, the packaging commanded attention with its sleek and minimalist design.

Someone mentioned the packaging looks like toilets, and ever since; I can’t unsee it, lol! However, I still like how the packaging looks – it’s unique and classy. It also features a mirror inside, which is a huge plus.

On top of that, you can buy a refill once you emptied your current blush. This way, you don’t have to buy a new compact, which is great for your wallet (it saves you money only by buying a refill) and for the environment!

About The Brand

Founded by Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and biotech company Amyris, Rose Inc leverages sustainable innovation and nearly two decades of experience in the makeup chair. The result is indulgent color and skincare that outperforms in every category.

How To Use

What Rose Inc says: “Using fingertips or swirling color with a brush, apply to cheeks and blend upward. Add more to build color and intensity if desired. It can also be applied to lips.”

I used my favorite blush brush and picked up a small amount of product to apply. I gently swept the blush onto my cheeks in an upward motion, focusing on the apples of my cheeks, and tapping it on. Blending was a breeze, and the result was a seamless, complementary flush for my complexion.

Things To Consider

Rose Inc is a clean brand, but its focus is on what goes into its formulas — not the 2,000 ingredients they leave out. They rely on clean, active ingredients that deliver visible skincare benefits.

On top of being a clean beauty brand that is cruelty-free and vegan, sustainability is also an important value of the brand.

Recycled and recyclable materials are paired with thoughtful designs to put environmental benefits before opulent packaging. It’s also important to mention that Rose Inc’s blush is:

  • Paraben-free
  • Sulfate-free
  • Phthalate-free

Rose Inc Blush Review

My experience with the Rose Inc Blush Formula has been quite impressive. I’ll walk you through my thoughts on its pigmentation, longevity, formula, and application.

Formula

The formula itself is silky smooth, allowing for an easy application. I had no trouble blending it out; it doesn’t feel heavy or cakey. It leaves a smooth, satin finish on the cheeks, which is perfect for a natural-looking flush.

The texture of this blush is another standout feature. With its velvety, smooth consistency, I had no issues applying it evenly; it melts seamlessly into my skin. The formula isn’t cakey or chalky.

On top of that, the blendability of the blush allows for easy layering, ensuring you can build up to your desired color intensity without any fuss. Here’s a quick breakdown of the texture:

  • Velvety and smooth
  • Not cakey or chalky
  • Easy to layer

Pigmentation

Starting with the pigmentation, it’s important to remember that a little goes a long way with this formula. The blush is quite pigmented, which means that just a small amount can provide a vibrant color payoff on the cheeks.

However, like I already said, it is a very buildable formula, so if you start off slowly, you can build up the color payoff to the intensity you like. Here are a few key points about the pigmentation:

  • Pigmented but buildable
  • Vibrant color payoff
  • A little goes a long way

When it comes to longevity, this blush didn’t disappoint either. I found that it lasted throughout the day without any significant fading or patchiness. However, for those with oily skin, you may want to use a setting powder to lock it in place for even longer wear.

The Rose Inc Blush Formula offers a versatile and easy-to-apply product. Since the formula is so blendable and buildable, you can achieve a subtle flush or a more dramatic look with ease.

Application

Applying the Rose Inc Blush Formula is a breeze. You can use your fingertips, a brush, or even a makeup sponge.

I found that using my brush provided the most control (but I’m a brush girl either way, lol), allowing me to tap and blend the product effortlessly. Whatever method you choose, just remember to use a light hand and build up the color slowly to avoid overdoing it.

Longevity

One of the qualities I seek in blush is its staying power. I put the Rose Inc Blush Formula to the test and was pleasantly surprised.

I found that the Rose Inc Blush Formula lasted throughout the day without needing touch-ups. It kept its pigmentation and didn’t fade, unlike some other blushes I’ve tried. This long-lasting quality is one of the best features of this blush formula.

Just remember that this can differ slightly depending on factors like skin type and activity level, but it’s safe to say this blush’s longevity is impressive.

Alternatives

Even though I really, really love the Rose Inc Blushes, I know there are still some other great options on the market. So if you’re not going for Rose Inc, you may want to check out the following great alternatives:

Patrick Ta Cream Blushes

The Patrick Ta Cream Blush formula is one of the best blush formulas out there. The cream blush melts into the skin! It’s easy to blend and build it up in pigment if you want to. It won’t ever look patchy or mess with the foundation beneath.

The blushes last all day, with no smudging, fading, or sliding throughout the day at all. It’s very long-wearing!

I like to apply the cream first, then the powder to make it even more long-wearing (this will ensure it doesn’t budge all day), but I know Patrick Ta is famous for his reversed method, aka powder first and cream on top. This also works well and is long-wearing, so either way, it’ll last all day!

Kylie Cosmetics Cream Blushes

The Kylie Cosmetics Cream Blushes are easy to apply and blend, and they last all day. The formula is lightweight, the color payoff is sheer but buildable, and it’s super creamy, dewy, and overall so gorgeous!

The formula is dewier at first but dries down into a more satin and velvet-like finish, which I really like. Because of this, you still have that dewiness, but it also makes the formula a lot more long-wearing.

Conclusion

Overall, the Rose Inc Blush Formula exceeded my expectations in terms of pigmentation, longevity, formula, and application. This high-quality blush provides a natural yet noticeable pop of color that lasts all day.

I would undoubtedly recommend it to anyone looking to up their blush game and achieve an effortlessly beautiful look. These Rose Inc blushes became one of my top 3 favorite formulas!
