Disclaimer: How Do I Test Products?
Product recommendations from Beautymone are purely honest and transparant. Occasionally, brands and PR agencies will send me items for consideration or sponsor product reviews, but my thoughts and opinions are my own and always fully honest. If I receive product samples or get sponsored for writing a product review, this is always stated at the top of the post (see Review Disclosure for more details).
I never accept a product or payment in exchange for positive coverage. Once I received the products, I treat them just as the ones I bought myself, and I’ll only recommend them if I think they’re really great.
I test all the products myself – yes, only my face and body – to see how the products perform. I usually test products multiple times before writing a review; if it’s a product’s first impression, it’s stated in the post. I test skincare products for at least a month before I write a review, as some products need a couple of weeks before they show results.
As I have been doing this for years, I’ve tested and accumulated knowledge about many products. I try to share my experiences with a product in as much detail as possible to help you decide whether a product is worth your money or not. I always consider value when making recommendations, so I always include alternatives that I think are worth mentioning.
